"Hello! You played at our wedding at the Ghillie Dhu on 6th October. Just wanted to thank you so much for the amazing music which created such a buzz and atmosphere that I'll never forget!! You were absolutely fantastic and the talk of the day. All of our guests including the ones who admitted that they "hate a ceilidh", all said you were absolutely amazing and by far the best ceilidh band they had ever heard. "Joanne sang at our wedding and was absolutely brilliant. A few guests commented how amazing she was and didn’t even realise at first we had a live singer, they thought she was a record playing which is testament to just how incredible her vocals are. She made our evening perfect. Couldn’t recommend enough ?"

"We loved The Final Hour, they were truly professional musicians and they have an incredible sound. Andy has an amazing voice and he sang our first dance song better than any version we have heard before! They were so helpful in terms of communication, set up and start times and kindly let us use their microphone for the speeches. The dance floor was filled for their entire set and they appealed to the entire age range of guests at our wedding. I could not praise the band enough!"

"What a treat it was last night to have you playing for us. Your choice of music was delightful and, of course, so beautifully played. I hope you could feel the appreciation from our guests. The dancing went very well considering the large numbers of non-members attending; what they lacked in expertise, they more than made up for in enthusiasm. "Second time we have heard Blue jewel - the first at their recent gig in the Stoke Gabriel Village hall just last Saturday they put on a Ceilidh Dance for our wedding reception. Really great on both occasions - super caller for our dance - just right for the many who had never done folk dancing and on both occasions their enthusiasm and light touch really made for a great evening. Would recommend for any occasion "

"Blue Jewel absolutely nailed their two sets for our wedding with their impeccable musicianship, excellent repertoire list, clear calling and easy-going good humour. Half the wedding party was made up of discerning (even after a few glasses) professional musicians, and everyone was completely delighted. They're still talking about it, not least that troika. Cracking first dance too, very easy for the newly-weds. Steve was also really easy to communicate with before the event, which took a lot of stress out of the wedding planning. Worth every penny. Not planning to get married again but hopefully we'll find another occasion to book them again soon! "

"Thanks you so much The Shooglers for playing at our wedding in April. I booked you after receiving a recommendation from the bass player of my own band. He was at a function you guys were playing at last year and he raved about you so much I was really glad you were able to play for us. There were guests from Canada, Dublin and New Zealand at our wedding and they were all joining in and everyone had a superb night. I especially enjoyed how you blended in rock and pop tunes with some of the Ceilidh dances. I will definitely recommend you guys to anyone I can and if I organize another bash in the future I'll be looking The Shoogle up! Thanks so much on behalf of my new wife Wendy and myself. "

"Thank you George it was a huge success and everyone loved the ceilidh part even though it was a little chaotic that just seemed to add to the merriment! Hopefully you will come and play for us again sometime as we sometimes run charity events in the village. The whole thing went by in a blur and would love to be able to go back and slow it all down! "We had a great night at our retirement do. The band were brilliant and got everyone involved. I have had so many positive comments from people who attended including - it was the best night out I have ever had!! We were a pretty lively lot but Kip was very patient in explaining the dance when we just didn't get it. I would highly recommend The Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band to anyone who is planning a fun filled evening. Thank you very much indeed. I will always remember what a wonderful evening I had when I retired from teaching. Alison (Torquay)"

"Kindred Spirit played at Kew fete on 21st June in front of hundreds of people. Their music pulled in a great crowd as their unique style of folk rock with electric violin and guitar kept the audience rooted. As the organiser of the stage acts at Kew fete, I just hope Kindred Spirit can play next year and captivate the audience once again."

"Sounds with Us we’re absolutely phenomenal at our wedding! Everything was perfect, the lead up we had multiple chats and they got to know us, find out our music taste then the day was just brilliant. Lilac did a solo set which was wonderful and the band kept the dance floor going followed with Remko keeping the floor fillers with his awesome DJ skills. Would recommend them to anyone for any occasion! Thank you guys ?"
