"I am sure you will be pleased to hear that we raised just over £4000 this year and were able to send cheques for £2000 each to both the Air Ambulance and Shipston Home Nursing. A good result.We have now also decided on next year’s date and really hope you will be able to play for us again. It is Saturday 7th April 2018. It really makes a difference having you there."

"Many thanks for a stonking set you put on for us, it was exactly what we wanted. Hoping you also enjoyed yourselves. Hope the beer, etc. was to you taste. Apologies for the short food rations, we were expecting to have loads left over for the evening ------ I have a very greedy family. Should we have another DO we know where to come. "Davie, I don’t know where to start by thanking you boys for Friday night. There were over 100 peeps there and I would say nearly everyone has commented on how brilliant you were and how you made the night. Big Andy(the big fat loud boy) thinks you’re even better now compared to the wedding and we thought you were awesome then. Everybody had a great time which is mainly down to you guys. We’ve not stopped talking about it since. Pass our regards to the boys. Hope you get an awesome venue for Hogmanay, you certainly deserve it. Thanks a million, Paula! "

"As a passionate fan of Irish folk music, my daughters arranged for Paul Brennan band to come and play at my 60th birthday party as a surprise. They didn't dissapont , with a brilliant selection of Irish music and songs it was lovely evening. Paul's mastering of the Ulian pipes has to be seen to be believed. They were very friendly and played everything we asked for. I would definitely book them again."

"Following many hours of researching for a ceilidh band for our wedding (August 2021), we decided on Blue Jewel. After an evening of brilliant music, lively calling and enthusiastic dancing, we now simply cannot recommend them enough. They are an incredibly friendly group who worked in partnership with us on the day to help create an evening that we will never forget. With a series of different dances (led by clear and directive calling), all creating a sea of smiles and energy, they are an incredibly talented group. And even despite a slight delay in the timings (from our side), they were both patient and understanding. "

"The Shooglers played at our wedding in May and they were great! They were brilliant at calling the ceilidh dances and Davie (the caller) certainly has the gift of the gab! He encouraged everyone to get up and dance and had people laughing in the process with lines like, 'the next dance is a prize dance... Prise yourselves off your seats and get up to dance! All our guests commented on how good the band was and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them - a great find!"

"Ceilidh With Us - WOW WOW WOW. Lilac and Remko honestly put on one of the best nights of our lives for our wedding reception. We were both sceptical of a band that said they could play anything (we challenged them to do a ceilidh and rock covers), but we were proved so wrong as they delivered the best live wedding set I've ever heard. The Scottish people at the wedding commenting on how good the ceilidh was (led by Jake the caller), and Lilac and the band were stunning for the rock covers. Everyone dancing from start to finish. I can't put into words how great these guys were from start to finish, so helpful and accommodating and I would recommend these guys to anyone. Awesome, awesome band."
