"We had such a brilliant night! The dances were well chosen with fun and covid in mind. Paul gave good explanations for the dances which helped alot. The band were very flexible and friendly when we were running late. Also the music was incredible! Wonderful band that got everyone dancing! "

"F.O.B. Band were amazing! The music was fantastic and the band members were so lovely. We had the best time! The dances were easy to follow and the caller was so patient with us all. We had a five year old and an 87 year old dancing with us which was fantastic. Highly recommend for an event that will cater for everyone regardless of age or fitness."

"Hi Fiddlestix, Thanks again for the wonderful ceilidh you and your band put on for us last Saturday. I have written a review for you to use below. Warm regards Julie Fiddlestix played a mix of English, Irish and Scottish music at our wedding breakfast in December. Both the musicians and the caller were excellent and we all thoroughly enjoyed the ceilidh. Many of our guests took to the floor, some of whom had never participated in a dance before. When numbers dwindled at the end of the evening, the band switched to performing Elvis Presley songs which got some of our remaining guests up and dancing. People have told us how much they enjoyed the music. Thank you, Fiddlestix, for providing us with such fun. Julie"

"A general consensus put your slot at the top of the list for the w/e, closely followed, I must add, by the hog! Thank you so much for making us all smile – everyone loved the music and commented on the brilliant “calling” – a bright lady! I have given your name to several folk, but I wasn’t able to tell them how far you travel for a gig, as many of our friends live in the Bristol area. Thanks again for helping to make our 60th birthday party so memorable."

"To add to the family review posted previously, on a more practical note... Patrick was wonderfully organised, when I spoke to him after booking he'd already checked Google maps to work out how long it would take to get to the venue and added half an hour for delays. He'd looked at Google earth to recce the site, and thought about additional music to supplement what I'd requested. He was there ahead of time, and was completely relaxed and supportive when I was in a big flap about everything. And of course, the music was perfect, beautiful, exactly as I'd hoped it would be. I couldn't recommend Patrick highly enough if you're looking for someone compassionate and efficient to make a very sad event very special."

"I would have no hesitation in recommending Luc, he played at our recent wedding and created a magical and perfect atmosphere. The harp sounded amazing, Luc played a variety of both classical and modern music as requested by us. Luc arrived in plenty of time and set up with no fuss. He is so talented and made our day perfect, we can’t thank him enough for managing to get to us in the middle of Storm Eunice."

"Davie, I don’t know where to start by thanking you boys for Friday night. There were over 100 peeps there and I would say nearly everyone has commented on how brilliant you were and how you made the night. Big Andy(the big fat loud boy) thinks you’re even better now compared to the wedding and we thought you were awesome then. Everybody had a great time which is mainly down to you guys. We’ve not stopped talking about it since. Hopefully, our paths will meet to let us get Shoogled once more. Pass our regards to the boys.
