"We had GDTB Duo play for us at our celebration, having seen them play at another venue. Everyone certainly had a good time. The music was interesting, some songs recognisable and some older traditional songs, with lovely singing and playing. And they were very friendly people to talk to afterwards as well. Definitely recommended."

"St Patrick's night at the Old Fire House Exeter was electric last night. The Extonions were well on form and had the place buzzing. Mac on his green electric fiddle raced away with jigs getting faster and faster, I'm surprised his fiddle didn't catch fire. Mike sang in his sexy Hank Marvin deep gravel voice with a lovely Irish twang. That got the ladies swooning. John swapped with ease from 6 to 12 string guitar and kept up a driving beat together with fingers flying over the strings to create a magical sound. James maintained the foundation of the band with solid bass. The place was so packed it was like how many people can you get in a telephone box, they just kept pouring in. There must have been hundreds at the gig. Feedback said it was the best St Patrick's venue in Exeter that night and greatly down to The Extonions. I highly recommend you don't miss their next gig."

So sorry for this late reply but we have been busy. We loved playing there although mature talented experienced musicians the younger audience went wild and like you said thought it was the best St Patrick's Night Exeter in Exeter. Mac 🙂 🎨 🎻

"Cannot get over how amazing these guys were! We loved every minute of their sets! They’re all amazing artists. Our guests were up dancing the whole night and have all said how amazing the band is. Lovely men can’t recommend them enough! Thanks again guys! -"

"Iron Broo played for our wedding ceilidh at the end of May this year and they absolutely fantastic!!! We had the two band member option as it was a smaller wedding, the music was brilliant and Charlie was very patient in leading us through the dances! I had so much fun and although some of our guests were hesitant to have a go, by Orcadian Strip the Willow, everyone who could was birling away! My family from England were so impressed with the atmosphere created by the music and really enjoyed the dancing. The guests who were not able to dance were still really entertained by the musicians and everyone raved about Irno Broo at the end of the night. Thankfully they were also able to play music while we had a breather but kept the entertainment going. Charlie was also very helpful with my many questions in the lead up to the big day! Couldn't recommend enough! Thank you again!"

"BM Ceilidh Band were exceptional for our Military Burns formal dinner night. Dave was lovely to work with on the lead up to the event, and catered for a last minute date change with no fuss – thank you so much for that. On the night Dave, Alan and Gerry were just excellent! Their knowledge and variety of Ceilidh songs ensured the night was a roaring success with the dance floor full for every song. The combination of the Melodian, Guitar and superb singing really made the night special. 100% would recommend to anyone and hope to have them again for future events. "

"Hi Dermot Just to thank you for your and the band's entertainment gig at our daughters's recent wedding. It was obvious that each band member was a professional both in proficency of instrument and presentation of the music. I was also impressed with the mix of old classical Irish (re O'Carolan) and the more recent lively musical pieces. Indeed, the songs also exhibited this diversity with noted classics and singalong standards. It was assuring when the band arrived with ample time for set-up and ready to play on cue. Thanks again. "We heard Full Beans perform at Oxjam in late 2015 and decided on the spot that we wanted them at our wedding reception. Their performance on the day was just perfect with a combination of classic gypsy jazz tunes and innovative arrangements of old classics. They were really organised and were spot on with communicating with us about the big day putting our minds at ease. We could not recommend these guys (and gals) enough!"

Mick, Just a quick note to say a huge thank you for playing at my party on Friday (29th November 2019 Friday Walthamstow Trades Hall, Tower Hamlets Road, Walthamstow, London, E17 4RQ) everyone had a great evening and you and your band made a major contribution to that - particular thanks to the caller who was fantastic and very patient with us all. Perhaps the best word of praise came from an Irish friend, who sat next to me after you had started playing and said, "These guys seem to know what they are doing." - believe me, coming from him that is high praise indeed!
