"Dear Black Velvet Band, Your Ceilidh band played at a Burns Night I attended last night at MOD Corsham. They were great and got everyone up and involved. Everyone really enjoyed it."

"ust wanted to say thank you so much for the music, fun and sheer merriment you provided on Saturday. It was an absolutely cracking party, everyone had a blast and my parents loved every minute! Your music was perfect, you had everyone up singing and got everyone in the party spirit. Everyone has been passing on their thanks and regards, so just wanted to say thank you for making the party such a special and memorable occasion. We’ll all be there in force at The Water Poet in Spitalfield’s London next year on St Patrick’s Day, so we’ll be sure to come and say hello again! "the band was fabulous and great to work with. Extremely professional and kind, even when you had to move your placement after you had already set up J I would highly recommend them for any event whether private, personal or corporate. Thanks again for everything!"

"I wanted to thank you all for your wonderful music on Sunday. It was so full of life and joy and I feel it literally made the party! Having you play in the garden was joyous and it gave everyone such a great feeling of celebration and gave the day a fantastic vibe! (We even got some of them dancing and I loved our birthday circle dance!!!). "

"Black Velvet Band Irish Duo yet again provided fantastic music at our Christmas party. The duo are so flexible and helpful - this year they played quite a few Scottish reels etc for our Highland Themed Party which was perfect. The vibe was also just right and got lots of people up and dancing. It was a key contribution to the overall atmosphere. Please thank them for me. I highly recommend them! "

"Well what can I say. It was perfect. The three guys were the perfect start to a 40th birthday party celebration (that ended at 4am!? They were friendly and professional plus excellent musicians pitching the right music at the right time ending the sets with the party on their feet dancing. Would like to thank them for making the day a special one that everyone enjoyed fully. Kindest Regards"

"We’ve had really positive feedback from the event and it was a lovely family day. There were approximately 800 residents that came along and enjoyed the entertainment . The band were great and kept in contact with me throughout the day to see if what they were offering was suitable for the event. I was out and about taking photographs of the event and saw several residents having a dance to the brass band or clapping away to the tune. Overall we were really pleased with the entertainment provided and the band were all lovely."

"We booked the BVB for our wedding in April at Stonehouse Court. We specified Celtic music and they were excellent – they even learned a song for me to sing with them in two weeks flat! True musicians who really know their stuff. They were punctual and did not skimp on time – not taking lengthy breaks between songs which I know some do. A really great experience – I thoroughly recommend them."
