"I wanted to thank you all for your wonderful music on Sunday. It was so full of life and joy and I feel it literally made the party! Having you play in the garden was joyous and it gave everyone such a great feeling of celebration and gave the day a fantastic vibe! (We even got some of them dancing and I loved our birthday circle dance!!!). "

"We were really pleased that we had booked the Black Velvet band for a ceilidh at our daughter’s wedding at Old Down Manor. Before the event they spoke to our daughter and planned with her exactly what she would like from them, the type of music and how they would organise the evening so that she and her new husband could be ‘danced out’ at the end. On the day the band arrived in good time with all the appropriate equipment for the location. The performance was very professional, the music great and they got all the guests dancing along. The caller’s instructions were clear. So overall we were very happy and would definitely recommend them."

Verity particularly liked the music from Amelie, and many of my guests were telling me their own personal favorites that you played. "Wow! What an evening we had! We absolutely LOVED our wedding evening and you absolutely made the night! We LOVED the dances, and so did all our guests. I couldn’t get over how good you all were! "Wedding with around 100 guests and I had a vision of having jazz musicians setting the scene me and this was done perfectly. Really set the tone for the day and could not have asked for anything more. Very professional, accommodating and friendly. Can’t recommend more. Any event I now do will have these musicians if available! The music was exactly what I had been looking for! 10/10 reccomend"

"Just a quick note to thank you again for a fabulous performance on Saturday. The surprise element worked out really well and all our guests were still talking about you in the taxi on the way home. We sent a clip to my mum (huge opera fan) in South Africa and she was in tears listening to the aria! :-) Thanks again for looking beautiful, your songbird singing and 'can-do' approach at planning stage. Talented musicians that were great to observe and enjoy from a seated position and equally from the dance floor which spilled over on more than one occasion. "We hired Richard and the Tzigauners jazz group for our wedding and they were absolutely amazing! So talented. They learned three songs for our ceremony which made it feel that much more unique and special. They also were very flexible and adaptable to timing and locations on the property (we set up in two locations). My only regret was not hearing them more! (Being a bride you get pulled away so often!) A huge thank you to the band!!!"
