"Really loved the music, it was perfect for setting the tone for our garden style wedding. The band were super easy going and were patient when our timings slightly overran, which we were super appreciative of. The band took the initiative to set up outside for their first set which we loved! All of our guests loved the music and told us how great it was to either dance along to or simply enjoy while drinking and chatting. Will definitely be recommending to others. Thank you Roundabout and Swing band!!!! "

"What can I say? The band was brilliant. Great vocals from Johnny, ably supported by Mike on fiddle and Eddy on accordion. By the end of the night everyone was dancing and calling for more. "We booked Fann Street Hot Club after hearing them play in London. Booking them was probably one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding! As Jan knows, so many of our other plans fell through, the worst of which being we suddenly had to change the venue!! But the band fit in seamlessly with all the chaos, and were absolutely wonderful. We couldn't thank them enough for everything they did to help make our wedding day the best day of our lives. We would highly recommend Fann Street Hot Club to anyone, without hesitation. "Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio / Claire’s 60th Birthday / May 2025 Black Velvet Trio were absolutely perfect for the barn dance we hosted. The trio were cool, calm and professional in their ability to literally herd cats! They were able to bring a huge smile to every face which was always my wish. The musicians were brilliant at just playing wonderful barn dance music whilst we laughed and bumped and crashed about with our two and sometimes three left feet. Our last (came too quick) dance was the Swiss Roll. We all loved it and would be so happy to have Black Velvet Trio back to do it all again."

"'Swing Gitan UK joined the Nottingham Jazz Orchestra on the bill of the Christmas Jazz Fest last weekend. Having seen Swing Gitan a number of times, I have always been massively impressed with the musical and technical ability of all members of the band. Their music would sound at home on the streets or riverbank walkways of Paris, but we were lucky enough for them to join us for a unique lineup of bands. Within just a few bars of their first number, (insert what you played first here, I can't remember, sorry lol), it is clear to all that Elliott Lewis and Wayne Jefferies, who take the positions as guitarists within the band, are masters of their instruments and faithfully re-create the music of Django Reinhardt, but adding their own style to numbers such as Minor Swing, Blue Bossa, and Undecided. Joined by bassist Rob Coates and James Tolhurst completing the lineup, their enthusiasm is infectious and the music always driving. If you ever get the chance to catch these guys doing a set, you will not be disappointed!' "

"My wife and I heard The Full Beans at a friend’s wedding and felt they would be perfect for my Oktoberfest themed 30th birthday. They did not disappoint and were arguably even better than we remember. The two sets they played went down and absolute treat, the songs they played were a brilliant take on the originals, that got everyone up dancing and singing along, there were definitely no shortage of people on the dance floor. Jake, who helped organise, was really helpful and was always quick to respond to my emails. I would happily recommend them to anyone who wants a really good knees up! Thanks again, was cracking!"

"We heard Full Beans perform at Oxjam in late 2015 and decided on the spot that we wanted them at our wedding reception. Their performance on the day was just perfect with a combination of classic gypsy jazz tunes and innovative arrangements of old classics. They were really organised and were spot on with communicating with us about the big day putting our minds at ease. We could not recommend these guys (and gals) enough!"
