"Cordes en Bleues played at my husband's birthday party. They were excellent from start to finish. They communicated really well prior to the event, were lovely to chat to, really easy going, and played a fantastic set. We would highly recommend them."

"Mike and the band were excellent and performed brilliantly for my 50th birthday celebration. Guests commented straight away on how good they were and we loved that they were able to tune in to the vibe of the evening and adjust to the various levels of enthusiasm and dancing competence that was on the dance floor. I thoroughly recommend them if you are thinking of having a hoe down and know that both myself and my guests will be remembering a great evening for a long time to come."

"Black Velvet ceilidh band played at my daughter’s wedding on Saturday. Please let them know how excellent they were, and the evening was a great success greatly helped by the excellent calling, music and dancing. I have had lots of good comments from guests and would recommend them to anybody."

We found them online, then went to see them perform in Nottingham - we can honestly say their website does not do them justice; they are incredible musicians. We knew they would be perfect for our big day. Elliott was really friendly and easy to deal with, and we felt he understood exactly the tone we wanted to set - summer sun/cocktails/chilled vibe for our drinks reception and something more upbeat for later in the evening. "Jonny's band performed at our wedding in the Peak District. We wanted some background music and Jonny's band fitted the bill perfectly. The bands cafe style music worked so well, moving around the guests in a non-intrusive fashion. 4 weeks on and guests are still saying how much they enjoyed it. The biggest recommendation would come from my dad, a musician with 50 years experience, he could not speak highly enough of Jonny. The band was professional and friendly from the start, I would not hesitate in recommending them."
