"We heard Full Beans perform at Oxjam in late 2015 and decided on the spot that we wanted them at our wedding reception. Their performance on the day was just perfect with a combination of classic gypsy jazz tunes and innovative arrangements of old classics. They were really organised and were spot on with communicating with us about the big day putting our minds at ease. We could not recommend these guys (and gals) enough!"

"Jonny's group played at our wedding, and we - and all the guests - loved the music. They created a great atmosphere, which was perfect for our garden and marquee setting. We had a number of French guests, and they were very impressed with the repertoire. Wonderful!"

"Most of all, we wanted to let you know that we loved the band and their music...they were just as good as I'd hoped they would be and they were very easy and pleasant company. Those that did hear and experience the music did love it and thought it added a lovely vibe to the party. Thankyou to Last Minute Music also for your excellent customer service and very smart booking procedure through the website. You've been so easy to communicate with, both through the messages via email and the website but also by phone and it's actually been a really stress-free part of organising a party that meant a lot to us. You've been so helpful and friendly, it felt like a breath of fresh air doing business with you. We'd highly recommend you to any friends or family we know who need some music for an event. Would you please let the band know we would also do the same for them. They were great! We wish you continued success with the business which enables live music to survive and thrive ..something we all need in our lives. "

"Henson's Hot Club were really good with communication ahead of confirming a booking and in the lead up to our wedding, were prompt and ready to go (and looking the part!) on the day, and provided absolutely wonderful music which was thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated by all. " The band was MAGNIFICENT! Such talented musicians and a unique and fabulous part of our wedding day. We loved the musical choices and were surprised yet delighted that our guests took it upon themselves to take to the dance floor! Quite unexpected but a testament to the magical qualities of music. Witnessing multiple generations responding to the music became one of the most special memories of the day! The atmosphere this band created was electric, and seeing as many of our guests were musicians or involved in the creative industry we can wholeheartedly recommend this band for an event! "

"We have booked Black Velvet Band for our Wedding in Devon on 20th May. We were delighted to find out from Jennie that they were playing at The Water Poet in Spitalfields on St Patricks Night. Being from London, this was perfect. We arrived to a heaving pub with great Irish tunes belting out the door. The pub was packed and everyone was Irish on Friday. Black Velvet Irish Band played everything from The Wild Rover to some traditional reels and jigs. The were excellent and we cannot wait to have them play on our special day. We met with the lads after who were all so friendly and welcoming. I’ve been in a quite a few pubs on St Patrick’s Day but I’ve never experienced an atmosphere like that. The crowd were singing and dancing, Black Velvet your were fantastic, we cant wait to see you guys on 20th May 2017. Niamh Ivey"

"Wow what a night! We had an absolute ball, the band were fantastically talented and accommodating to a group of people who had never danced a Ceilidh before. There wasn’t a face in the room that didn’t have the biggest smile on it, can’t thank the team enough. Would absolutely book again and recommend to anyone needing a Ceilidh band."
