"We booked Swing Gitan for our wedding on 7 September. We had seen them a couple of times around Nottingham and really liked their style and music. On the day itself, they played for about 2 hours with a short break in the middle. We really loved their music and it fit in well with our venue, which was in a barn and marquee on a farm. They were great at replying to all our questions which was one less thing to worry about when planning a wedding! All our guests really enjoyed them too; their music appeals across all ages and we had lots of comments that it was great to hear something a bit different at a wedding. We wouldn't hesitate to book them for another occasion!"

"The Black Velvet Band provided us with a fantastic ceilidh for our wedding reception. They really got everyone up and moving, so much better than a boring DJ set. They were even accommodating to our more inebriated guests and explained the dance moves clearly. We had a wonderful time and would consider them again for future parties."

"Well what can I say. It was perfect. The three guys were the perfect start to a 40th birthday party celebration (that ended at 4am!? They were friendly and professional plus excellent musicians pitching the right music at the right time ending the sets with the party on their feet dancing. "Just a quick note to thank you again for a fabulous performance on Saturday. The surprise element worked out really well and all our guests were still talking about you in the taxi on the way home. We sent a clip to my mum (huge opera fan) in South Africa and she was in tears listening to the aria! :-) Thanks again for looking beautiful, your songbird singing and 'can-do' approach at planning stage. "We just wanted to say big thank you for amazing performance the band has done which made our Big Day even more special. The band was fantastic, playing great gypsy jazz songs that everyone enjoyed and we had even our dance to "Sing sing sing", which was amazing. You fitted so well to the ambient of Pembroke Lodge and I would definitely recommend you to any couple who needs some vintage elegant touch to their Wedding Reception."

"The Cesarz Tabor Duo played while I walked down the aisle and it was so beautiful!! During the ceremony they played classical music and a piece we had chosen, then played some lovely jazz on the lawn while everyone had drinks. It really made our day!"

"We had a really great evening. The musicians were very friendly and accommodating. When some of our guests were late arriving because of the dreaded road closure and subsequent diversions, they adapted their sets to suit our timings and many non-dancers were encouraged to get up and shake a leg. Everyone said how much they enjoyed themselves and we would certainly recommend and use them again."

"We have just had Gypsy Jazz/Swing Band play at our Sunday Social dance at the Hen and Chicken and they did a superb job! Good quality musicians providing an excellent range of swinging, high energy tunes. We had people who came just to listen but mainly it was a room full of dancers and they kept the floor full and buzzing. Their set was interesting, playful and spot on for what we wanted. We would definitely have them back! A note to organisers: Very easy comms. They turned up with plenty of time and were clean and efficient in set up and take down. What’s not to like?!"
