"Black Velvet ceilidh band played at my daughter’s wedding on Saturday. Please let them know how excellent they were, and the evening was a great success greatly helped by the excellent calling, music and dancing. I have had lots of good comments from guests and would recommend them to anybody."

"Mike and the band were excellent and performed brilliantly for my 50th birthday celebration. Guests commented straight away on how good they were and we loved that they were able to tune in to the vibe of the evening and adjust to the various levels of enthusiasm and dancing competence that was on the dance floor. I thoroughly recommend them if you are thinking of having a hoe down and know that both myself and my guests will be remembering a great evening for a long time to come."

You arrived early and set up without any disruption and left in the same professional manner. The music was really uplifting and it was great to dance to and created a fabulous atmosphere. Your music was perfect, you had everyone up singing and got everyone in the party spirit. "Jonny is great: he plays mean jazz accordion and is a delight to have around. Really made our afternoon in the garden for our guests and made a great atmosphere. It was Autumn Leaves that hooked me in."

"We’ve had really positive feedback from the event and it was a lovely family day. There were approximately 800 residents that came along and enjoyed the entertainment . The band were great and kept in contact with me throughout the day to see if what they were offering was suitable for the event. I was out and about taking photographs of the event and saw several residents having a dance to the brass band or clapping away to the tune. Overall we were really pleased with the entertainment provided and the band were all lovely."
