"I just wanted to thank you and the guys for their work last Thursday. They were awesome and we loved them. We're also really pleased we picked Klaus as the replacement singer as his style and personality were exactly what we wanted for our wedding day. We had lots of great feedback from guests about the band as a whole and for Klaus's solo set. If you ever need a testimonial for the band or Klaus, don't hesitate to let me know. Also, great work on our song for the first dance, as I know it was a rarity and the music was very hard to find. "

"The band were fantastic. They were professional, discreet and adaptable to everything that we asked of them. One of my favourite parts of the day was our first dance which they sang beautifully! We had so many compliments from guests about the band and about the song choices that they made, they were able to see what kind of music was popular and continued to get people up and dancing! They also played a fabulous acoustic set outside for us at our drinks reception which went perfectly with the relaxed feel of the afternoon. Overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and can't thank them enough for contributing to making our day so perfect."

"……a HUGE thank you Murphy’s Lore, for an amazing evening of fantastic music, great entertainment and wonderful atmosphere ! You matched the dances perfectly to take into account the extreme heat and the great age range …….. just 4 years old to 84 …… Great calling and encouragement ( in the heat !) Noeleen ….. you are amazing !!! My personal favourite has to be the last dance the coil and processional “wedding dance “ ….. brilliant !!! I've had loads of great feedback from friends and family re the FUN that they all had …. whether it was dancing themselves or watching others’ varying attempts …. What a laugh !!! July 2026"

"We hired the Edinburgh Ceilidh Trio for our wedding and they were fantastic, we had 3 hours of playing and I don't think the dance floor was empty once. They were great at explaining the dances to the guests, allowing them to quickly learn the dances and have a go. Many of the guests - most of which had never done a ceilidh before - all reported how much fun they had. "

"We just wanted to email to thank the guys for being amazing on our wedding day! So many of our guests have commented saying how great they were and that they got the party started straight away. They loved that they could just request their own songs and everyone has said the atmosphere was nothing like they had seen before at a wedding that early on in the day. Even the staff at the house stopped us to say how good they were. They were exactly what we were after and we couldn't be happier. If you could pass on our thanks that would be amazing. Best wishes"

"If you need your event to go with a swing then Tim and Bella are the best! They played at a recent Open Garden event at my home and were completely professional, great fun and knew their audience, tailoring the music to ensure that everyone who came to the garden really enjoyed themselves. "
