"We had a great night at our retirement do. The band were brilliant and got everyone involved. I have had so many positive comments from people who attended including - it was the best night out I have ever had!! We were a pretty lively lot but Kip was very patient in explaining the dance when we just didn't get it. I would highly recommend The Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band to anyone who is planning a fun filled evening. Thank you very much indeed. I will always remember what a wonderful evening I had when I retired from teaching. Alison (Torquay)"

"On behalf of SELSA Council, this is to thank you and Jean (Harp)sincerely for helping to make our Centenary Burns event so special on Saturday night. The evening went past so quickly and I didn’t get a chance to thank you properly. We’ve had tremendous feedback and some very nice compliments about your performance. The 2 sets went down very well."

"The musicians were fantastic (2nd November 2019 Saturday Fletchers Lea, Ware Priory, High Street, Ware, Hertfordshire SG12 9AL). Turned up when they said they would and were very accommodating. Margaret was great at encouraging the reticent and showing how to do the dances. Everyone had great fun and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of a ceilidh. Would definitely recommend Mick and his group to others" Eileen Kelly 5th November 2019"

"Ceol Beag Ceilidh Band played at my wedding last month. They did a fantastic job and made a real effort to get everyone up and dancing! They were able to meet our expectations around playlists and opening/ending songs and made our evening perfect. I would definitely recommend Ceol Beag Ceilidh Band to anybody considering them "

"Just a short note to say a very big thank you for the services of the Norloch Ceilidh Band, which made our Wedding such a magical and joyous occasion. So many people have written & verbally commented on how wonderful the dancing went & were so impressed in the professionalism of your very talented group. Special mention was made by many about the expertise of the ‘caller’, so please pass on our gratitude. Once again our gratitude for helping our Wedding be so special. "

"I write to thank you most sincerely for recommending Bagtastic to play at our Charity Ball on Saturday night in the Hilton Hotel. The 600 guests thoroughly enjoyed their performance and asking where they would be playing next.  We all look forward to having them at our Ball next year. Bagtastic really did rock our event.  Everyone was out of their seats dancing along with them.  Their music, fun and enthusiasm really contributed to the success of our charity Ball. Congratulations to Bagtastic for making our event a brilliant night!!!!!!   Can’t wait to see you all next year. "

"We decided on a ceilidh for our wedding reception; we thought it would give our day a great "party" feel. My husband is also Dutch and we wanted something that would suit everyone regardless of age, background and language. We definitely hit the jackpot with Blue Jewel - they did a fantastic ceilidh and the atmosphere was brilliant. We even had grandparents joining in the dancing! The instructions were clear and perfect for all language levels, and Blue Jewel was very flexible (we were running a little late) and had even looked up a Dutch song/dance especially for our wedding! We really enjoyed it and have had nothing but compliments about the band, music, and what a great idea the ceilidh was. I would definitely recommend!"

"Rowan provided background music before and during the ceremony and played a song I requested for walking down the aisle- it was beautiful. Piper was fantastic! We had the quartet for the ceilidh and it was brilliant! I loved every minute, and so did my guests! Highly recommend! "

"After a decade or so in London, he has lost none of his native musical ability on accordion or as a bel canto tenor. The duo's irreverence, including introducing Harrison's virtuoso violin flourishes as if playing at the Queen Vic, and sundry comic turns, help give their musical sketches a real sense of pace. Yet for all their larking around, when the music demands gravitas and expression, it's there in spades."

"Just wanted to drop you a line to say how much we enjoyed your music and barn dance co-ordinating at our Ruby Wedding Anniversary party on Saturday. The band was commented on in a very complimentary way and I can assure you that the music was thoroughly enjoyed by all."
