"I found Rachel on this website and it was very smooth and easy to communicate with Rachel prior to her arrival to our anniversary party. We had a really great time and Rachel made all the folks very comfortable and the whole evening was brought into different dimension :) Rachel also learned a new song few days before our party so I was really over the moon. "Thanks again for yesterday – there was such a lovely atmosphere and the music and calling were great. Someone commented on it being ‘advanced barn dancing’ Smile Lots of people said how marvellous you all were. And also I really appreciated Ray’s (or is it Roy – sorry, forgotten) changes to the words to accommodate the range of dancers and couples and reducing the gender specificity – it felt much more accessible to me and there were also comments from others saying how much they appreciated being able to dance as two people and not be concerned about who was who or ‘dancing as’ etc."

"I am still reelubg from the incredible performance by ABBA Sensationelle the girls came to perform at my Ultimate tribute show at the Minworth lodge. These ladies brought the house down with their spot on vocals and energetic stage prescence. They are one of these out there and their performance at my show was truly unforgettable...We have already booked them again 3 times in 2026. "

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio / Claire’s 60th Birthday / May 2025 Black Velvet Trio were absolutely perfect for the barn dance we hosted. The trio were cool, calm and professional in their ability to literally herd cats! They were able to bring a huge smile to every face which was always my wish. The musicians were brilliant at just playing wonderful barn dance music whilst we laughed and bumped and crashed about with our two and sometimes three left feet. Our last (came too quick) dance was the Swiss Roll. We all loved it and would be so happy to have Black Velvet Trio back to do it all again."

"Me and my friend Pūlama hired Blue Jewel band for our birthday party and they were so excellent!!! The music was fab and the caller chose really fun dances, some folks said it was the best Ceilidh they had been to! 10/10 recommend, thank you for a lovely evening :)"
