"This band played at my mother's 70th birthday party. They were excellent. Really accommodating, enthusiastic and friendly. Nearly everyone got up and had a dance, and had great fun (even the self-proclaimed non-dancers). I couldn't recommend them more. "

"The ceilidh band were amazing! Our gala evening was especially for a group of 10 year olds but adults attended too. The caller, Mick, explained the steps clearly for them to follow, and used children and adults to demonstrate so they could follow. The music was lively, loud and energetic and everyone got up to dance! We have booked the band before and I would definitely book the band again. Thank you for making our evening such a great success."

"I cannot fault this band in any way! We kept the ceilidh as a surprise for our wedding guests and it went down as well as we had hoped! The caller was excellent and all the guests engaged well and the dances were so fun and energetic. We have had so many compliments since our wedding about that and can't wait to see the professional photos because we know they will show just how much fun we had. The band then continued on for another hour playing covers of popular wedding songs which was also excellent. The band were very quick, efficient and professional, and the booking process, forms and numerous zoom calls made the whole thing very easy and stress-free. We really can't recommend this band enough!!"

"I've wanted to try live music in our little Country pub for the longest time and Lucy and Jack were so great I'll definitely be having them back again and again. Engaging, entertaining, and had people up dancing all night. Can't recommend enough!"

"Thoroughly recommend Kip and the band, who made my birthday party such a fun evening. Great, easy communication from Kip when planning the event and on the night. The ceilidh was excellent, the calling nice and clear, and everyone had lots of fun, including the little ones—who Kip made sure could join in alongside everyone else. The fact that most people danced (nearly) every dance says how good the ceilidh was!"

"Recently hired Lilac and Barn with Us for our country themed wedding - they were amazing. Lilac’s attention to detail in compiling the set list and incorporating some of our chosen songs was great and she communicated with us throughout the whole process. On the night they set themselves up without disturbing us and the set, lights and sound were good quality. They were very helpful in playing our own playlists in between. Lilac’s voice is fantastic and many guests commented on how good she was. The line dancing was great fun and had all our guests up and joining in. They helped make our wedding a day to remember "

"Barn With Us played at our school charity dinner last weekend and I am going to let the pupils do the talking: Vibrant; great company; made it a lot of fun; great singing and music; the callers explained everything really well and made sure everyone understood what they should do (the dance was demonstrated to me at this time!); lively; really good atmosphere; they were funny; great energy - you get the picture! "Each year our section hold a rally. Each year we visit a different location alternating between the UK and Europe. It was my turn to organise a weeks rally in the UK, and I chose the Two Bridges Hotel near Princetown as our base. We needed some form of entertainment for our Gala Night. Our group are in the in main middle fifties and some over eighty so the last thing we need was a rock group. I had some opposition when I suggested a Folk group but I prevailed and have to say that tracking down a band was in the area was extremely difficult. Typing a search in Google for local folk groups resulted in names almost everywhere except in the West Country. Eventually I contacted Blue Jewel and Steve convinced me that they could adapt to our needs. Every single person enjoyed the groups performance, there were 62 people there and almost every single one said how much they enjoyed the group. As the organiser I was greatly impressed by the way they accommodated our requirements and we had a brilliant night. Thank you Blue Jewel Chris.
