"Wow Rachel was amazing, i requested 2 songs (one just 2 days before the event) Rachel happily learnt and played my songs and they were brilliant, she came to my house and played beautifully and organised herself very well. I did not need to help with anything. Her songs were great and so was her singing. She was a lovely person and im so pleased i booked her. Thank you"

This was on the occasion of our Ruby Wedding Anniversary held at Birmingham Progressive Synagogue on Saturday, 16th July 2016. "My wife and I had a black tie/kilted dinner dance recently with over 90 guests of all ages. The highlight of the evening was the Northern Reel Collective.They had everyone up dancing and having fun and with a professional dance caller it all went incredibly well. We would have no hesitation recommending them to anyone looking for a traditional, energetic, professional Ceilidh Band . "Hello Fiddlestix, We are just away on holiday but wanted to thank you, the band and your fabulous caller for getting our daughter’s wedding reception off to such a great start! We knew we had a few guests who would definitely get up and take part, but to have so many joining in the fun and to hear all of the glowing compliments afterwards was great! The cheesy disco afterwards was good fun too, but I think partly that was down to the fact everyone had had such a great laugh with their attempts at barn dancing and were keen to stay on the dance floor! "We can't thank Juniper enough for doing such a fab Ceilidh for our wedding! Everything from start to finish was so professional and smooth. The band liaised with other musicians from the day re equipment and we didn't have to worry about a thing. The music was just fabulous - incredible players, amazing sound, lively and fun vibe and the band were so relaxed and are clearly very talented individuals and very well rehearsed. The caller was brilliant and had all our guests up and dancing immediately. They were very good at explaining the more complicated dances and held the room very well. Our guests had such a lovely time and all commented how amazing the band was and how much fun they had. The Ceilidh really made our wedding special and we would most definitely book the band again."

"Thank you for a great gig in Brierley Hill last night. Really enjoyed the diverse range of country music you played versus the safe "country's greatest hits" that a lot of touring covers bands play. Also really enjoyed the variety of rotating vocals and instruments. Top class, so, once again, thank you."

"The band were incredible. We had a lot of guests who had never been to a ceilidh before, however we were so impressed that almost everyone was up and dancing, which was largely down to the excellent and engaging caller. It was so much fun! Great communication before the event, and lovely people to talk to on the day. We loved every minute, thank you!"

"Just wanted to say that the band we excellent yesterday. The music was great and everyone loved it! The guys really made my Mum’s 70th birthday a party to and she was so happy loved seeing everyone have such a great time. Great memories made. "We very much enjoyed having The Blue Jewel Celidh Band at our Platinum Jubilee Hoe Down event. Marquee based. Fantastic, lively tunes and the caller made sure everyone was included and were able to follow. They played us off our feet! Much fun was had by all! Throughout the planning they were easily contactable and very accommodating. Highly recommended!"
