"Dear Kellys Heroes, Thank you so much for playing at our wedding. You were brilliant and so patient with us! So many of our guests have remarked how much they loved it- from the 20 year olds to the 70 year olds, all loved it and joined in, which is exactly what we wanted. Even the hip-hop fans who normally grumble at anything else were up having a whale of a time. We appreciated you expertise and advice and would recommend you to others. We hope you enjoyed playing and we're sorry the rugby score was not better!"

"Hi Fiddlestix, Just a quick note to say thank you very much for the fabulous performances and ceilidh yesterday. The music was hugely complimented by our guests, and we had a wonderful time. Thanks to Mary’s great calling everyone got into the swing of it so readily - even the ceilidh novices! John’s mum Jill wanted to pass on her feedback too: “the music was highly impressive and the caller was top quality - we very much enjoyed the ceilidh”. "Hi Fiddlestix, Thanks again for the wonderful ceilidh you and your band put on for us last Saturday. I have written a review for you to use below. Warm regards Julie Fiddlestix played a mix of English, Irish and Scottish music at our wedding breakfast in December. Both the musicians and the caller were excellent and we all thoroughly enjoyed the ceilidh. Many of our guests took to the floor, some of whom had never participated in a dance before. When numbers dwindled at the end of the evening, the band switched to performing Elvis Presley songs which got some of our remaining guests up and dancing. People have told us how much they enjoyed the music. Thank you, Fiddlestix, for providing us with such fun. Julie"

"Just realized that with all the end of term chaos I hadn't said thank you for getting our picnic up and dancing!! Thanks also for saving the day by arriving early at short notice when Britain's summer threw the best at us (and then some!!) and for being so flexible when things were so up in the air on arrival...definitely all the right decisions were made and everyone had a ball. We've had loads of great comments and I hope you were pleased with how many people joined in at such an early hour."

"The band was fantastic to work with, very helpful in the run up to the wedding with sending us pre recordings of our first dance song and organising the songs to be played on the night with us. They were also very flexible about having part ceilidh and part covers during the evening which was perfect! Lilac’s voice is incredible! The ceilidh went very well and all the guests enjoyed themselves swinging each other around! Very friendly and professional team - would definitely highly recommend to others!"

"I just wanted to send you a message to say how fantastic Alba Ceilidh Band were at our party on Saturday night - a large number of our guests (quite a lot of whom are musicians) commented on how good the band were. And they couldn't have been friendlier or more accommodating with the way the evening ran. Thanks again - we would definitely recommend this band to friends and family."

"I want to have the party again! Nothing made our Wild West theme party as good as Lilac, Remko & co! From booking, setting up, to the live performance, they were professional, flexible, kind and extremely talented. 'Barn with us' and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone and even got people up dancing (which doesn't always happen often at corporate events) so much so, we booked them for an additional set! Thank you so much! We will definitely book again and I highly recommend to anyone. Great value too!"

"From our very first emails to the sweaty (from all of us) hugs at the end of our night, Oscar and Barney were nothing short of wonderful. Not only are their musical talents just completely and ridiculously incredible, they were always so kind and encouraging - with nothing too much trouble and keen to take on whatever request we made! Playing as a duo immediately after our wedding ceremony and with their band as we danced into the night, Barney and Oscar have given us the gift of memories to treasure soundtracked by their amazing music. We cannot thank them, or recommend them highly enough. ♥️🍀"

"Davie, At last I am getting a minute to thank you and the guys for an excellent evening playing at our Silver Wedding at Meldrum House. The music was fabulous, everything we expected and more! All our guests have been telling us how much they enjoyed the band, even those not energetic enough to dance say that they very much enjoyed listening to you play. We were well and truly shoogled and I know I wasn’t the only one with aching muscles the next day! Great fun, thanks for helping to make our special occasion a huge success, we all had a fantastic time. The only complaint we had was that the party finished too soon!"
