"Barnbusters were brilliant for my 40th birthday ceildh. they were very accommodating on time and location as well as being very reasonably priced. The band were great and the caller did a lovely job of getting our novice group dancing and having a good time. I highly recommend."

"The ceilidh was a great success (31st December 2013 Tuesday Goldsmith's College, Lewisham Way, New Cross, London SE14 6NW) the orchestra really enjoyed themselves! Please pass on my thanks to Wraggle Taggle for all they did - they were marvellous. If our residency is back at Goldsmiths next year, we'd love to have them back, but I'm afraid we don't know what we're doing until the last minute. I'll certainly be back in touch if we need a band for our Spring/Summer residencies though! Thanks again Ben Salter, Head of Support, National Youth Orchestra 20th January 2014"

"The perfect choice for our annual summer fete (6th September 2025 Saturday Arlington Square, London, N1}. Mick & Co entered into the spirit of the event and kept everyone happy with a great mix of music. They were so popular that numerous people have already demanded that we book them for next year's fete... Many thanks again for providing the music for our Fete. I've heard nothing but compliments about the band. It's a bit early for that, but the Fete is always the first Saturday in September, so you might want to pencil in 5 Sep 2026 for a possible gig. We haven't done all the sums yet, but it looks like this year's affair broke all records when it came to fund-raising – over £5,000 to be shared between three local good causes! I'm sure the good vibe generated by yesterday's music encouraged the crowd to be generous. Please pass on our warmest thanks to Carlene, Caroline and Mick. I look forward to seeing you all again. "Hi Gordon, We can't begin to thank you and the band enough for making Friday such a special evening. Helen was really looking forward to dancing with all her friends and the music you played certainly made people want to get up and join in, even oldies like me. Thank you also for managing the ceilidh dancing so well in a very restricted amount of space. We had expected just a few people to take part but were overwhelmed by the numbers and the enthusiasm. Helen had forewarned a number of her friends about the dances we were having so a few had taken advantage of the YouTube tutorials available but the success was all down to yourself. We both realised that you played for much longer than initially envisaged so thank you very much for that. Best wishes!"

"It is Monday morning and we have just said goodbye to the last of our guests. Everyone, young and old, from near and far, had the most fantastic time and this was in very large part due to the quite outstanding entertainment you provided. You had the knack of getting everyone up onto the dance floor and enjoying themselves enormously. The music was great, the calling was quite the best I have experienced, and the whole evening was perfect, an outstanding end to an already memorable birthday celebration. Very many thanks indeed for all you did. "

"What a fantastic band! The booking process was easy and seamless, communication was great, and the band created a brilliant atmosphere at our joint 40th/60th family birthday party. Our very experienced caller got all the guests on the dance floor - with ages from 3 to 83, and a number of guests with wheelchairs, walkers and other mobility needs, that was no mean feat! We had a wonderful evening, and made some brilliant memories that will last a lifetime. All the guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thank you so much to the band for making our special evening such a success!"

"Speechless - and that's not like me. The band were fantastic - they are the best of the best, on a par with The Dubliners. Absolutely made our evening, this will be the first band we look to for all our future events without a doubt. The Caller was great fun, all of them were a compliment to each other. "The three chaps that make up this band were fantastic on the night, I've had nothing but compliments from the many people in attendance. The music they played was perfect, my 80 year old Irish father who's party it was hasn't stopped smiling since Saturday night. They actually learnt a song which is one of his favourites for the night. And it went down very well. I would recommend the lads to my friends and family events in the future for sure. Many thanks.
