"Gentlemen... what a fantastic band. We see bands here every week but you guys were miles better than any we've ever seen. I am not working today so have spoken with the manager on duty to leave a comment for you. Perhaps then some of our other clients will choose you for their functions at Achnagairn House. "Kelly's Heroes were booked to play at my father in law's wake. We wanted a celebration of this man's life and wow did we get one. The Wake was more than we ever hoped for and that was very much due to the wonderful music and energy Helen, Tony , Steve and Patrick brought to the day. I can't speak more highly of you all. It was perfect. Thank you so much. Thank you again so much you are strangers that are now part of our collective memory of Micky's send off. Priceless! Cannot recommend highly enough!!"

"We just wanted to say a massive thank you to you and all the band, and of course your caller. We absolutely loved hearing you all play again and it was wonderful seeing all of our friends and family enjoying the dancing and music. It is something we will never forget.  We’re sorry that we weren’t running to time on the day, but thank you for being so understanding and I hope you all managed to enjoy some cake and cheese whilst you were waiting to set up.  We will be keeping an eye out for any future dates in your diary and coming along to another ceilidh, think we’ve got the bug! "Would definitely recommend! We booked the guys for our wedding and from the booking process to the night of the event, Lilac and Ceilidh With Us were so professional, easily contactable, and friendly. On the night the performance (both ceilidh and covers) was brilliant and brought so much energy and joy to our wedding. These guys are great!"

"Davie, At last I am getting a minute to thank you and the guys for an excellent evening playing at our Silver Wedding at Meldrum House. The music was fabulous, everything we expected and more! All our guests have been telling us how much they enjoyed the band, even those not energetic enough to dance say that they very much enjoyed listening to you play. We were well and truly shoogled and I know I wasn’t the only one with aching muscles the next day! Great fun, thanks for helping to make our special occasion a huge success, we all had a fantastic time. The only complaint we had was that the party finished too soon!"

"The perfect choice for our annual summer fete (6th September 2025 Saturday Arlington Square, London, N1}. Mick & Co entered into the spirit of the event and kept everyone happy with a great mix of music. They were so popular that numerous people have already demanded that we book them for next year's fete... Many thanks again for providing the music for our Fete. I've heard nothing but compliments about the band. It's a bit early for that, but the Fete is always the first Saturday in September, so you might want to pencil in 5 Sep 2026 for a possible gig. We haven't done all the sums yet, but it looks like this year's affair broke all records when it came to fund-raising – over £5,000 to be shared between three local good causes! I'm sure the good vibe generated by yesterday's music encouraged the crowd to be generous. Please pass on our warmest thanks to Carlene, Caroline and Mick. I look forward to seeing you all again. "Blue Jewel played at our wedding two weeks ago and they were absolutely fantastic. They were the highlight of the wedding party for us and for many of the wedding guests. Lots of people joined in with the energetic music. Clear instructions for the dances made it easy for everyone to join in. Apart from how fun the celeidh itself was, the thing that we appreciated most of all about Blue Jewel - and the thing that stands out about them - is that it was so easy and stress-free to organise. A couple of emails prior to the wedding to confirm timings and cost (which was very reasonable), and then they turned up on time, were very polite and flexible about us running late with the rest of the wedding, played brilliant music and got everyone up dancing. There was no fuss or stress whatsoever. Absolutely brilliant. We would recommend Blue Jewel to anyone. "

"Great music and well coordinated by caller for each dance. Good encouragement was given to the guests to participate in the dances. It worked well even though we only had 40 guests. Good variety of music to cater for all tastes. Thoroughly enjoyable evening and would recommend the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band to anyone."

"​We never actually got to speak on the day but I wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the Band for an amazing evening.  You were all so professional and fun and made our wedding so memorable. I was so impressed that there was always a full compliment of dancers on the floor which is always testament to the skills of caller and band - people couldn't wait to get up to dance. I only wish my dress would have allowed a little more dancing for myself - however it was a joy to watch people having a great time.  I have had so many comments on how fantastic you all were and where we managed to find you!  Thank you again for such a wonderful and memorable evening for us and our guests."
