"Huw played at our wedding and he was great. He has a wide repertoire of songs, including jazz, soul and Latin music, both ballads and more uptempo numbers. He was highly professional and there was fantastic feedback from the guests. He is also very easy to deal with, which made our wedding preparations that bit easier. We’d definitely book Huw again!"

"Apologies that this thank you is long overdue, and that I didn't get much time on the day to say hi and thank you in person (it went so quick!!). I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you and the band for playing at our wedding at Thornton Manor Lakeside Marquee on 26 October. You were absolutely fantastic. The ceilidh was brilliant and the calling was a lot of fun! You kept everyone going and having a great time, despite the chaos of a bunch of English folk trying it out for the first time! I really appreciated you playing the first dance song - it meant a lot to me and sounded fantastic (even if it did have the grandparents in tears!). I will not hesitate to recommend you."

"They were absolutely brilliant. They really got everyone up on the dance floor and led the sets so that all the guests could really enjoy the dancing. We had a lot over from Canada and they still haven’t stopped telling us how much they enjoyed it. The Scots amongst us also appreciated how good they were and how hard they worked to ensure it was great fun. They helped make the wedding a very special and unforgettable day for Joseph and Amanda. "

"Luisa was so professional from start to finish and made our event even more special with her talent. I would book her again in an instant. However we made the mistake that we should have had a microphone next to her as once the noise in the marquee increased it was difficult to hear her play. This was our fault but a lesson to anyone else."

"I had the best time with the Barn Buskers celebrating my 50th birthday. From the minute I booked them to the moment they had to leave they were brilliant. The youngest guest was 2, the oldest was 85 and everybody said what a fantastic time they had. Knees hurt but cheeks hurt more from all the smiling and laughing. The caller did extraordinarily well keeping us all together. Note to self.....must learn left from right 😂😂 If you are looking for some talented musicians with a flare to keep the party going, at a pace that suits your needs, then look no further. I believe a friend has booked them for their wedding next year, and I for one can't wait to do it all again 🩷 Huge thank you to Judy and co. Truly a most memorable day 🩷🥳"

From our very first conversation, she was warm, professional, and attentive to every detail, ensuring all our requests were handled in such a personal and reassuring way. We had a specific song in mind for the start of our ceremony, and Lyra Strings performed it beautifully. It created the most romantic and emotional atmosphere, and so many of our guests came up to tell us how much they loved it. Even days later, we were still receiving messages about how her music was one of the standout moments of the day. "We want to thank It's No' Reel for a fabulous experience. They were professional from start to finish and their organisation is excellent. They were very open to be being flexible with the ceilidh and disco options. We even had a Skype call just to introduce each other and to explain what we wanted which is much better than email. The ceilidh was brilliant and as we had friends and family from different countries, the calling was clear and easy to understand. Everyone had so much fun, it was the perfect end to the day. Afterwards we received a video montage of the ceilidh which we have shared with our friends and family, a lovely added extra which we were not expecting. If you are looking for a ceilidh band, I would DEFINITELY recommend It's No' Reel, if you have half as much fun as we did you will not be disappointed!"
