"I cannot rate Lisa higher than 10/10, but I will do my best to justify why this should be possible. To begin with Lisa was a delight to deal with before, during and after the Wedding. Left largely to her own devices on the day, she was a complete professional and delivered all that we asked for and more. She was booked to perform to welcome guests to the Ceremony, during the Ceremony and throughout the Wedding Breakfast and did so exquisitely. We could not have made a more perfect choice of performer. Lisa is truly gifted, not only as an outstanding harpist, musician, songwriter and musical arranger, but she also has a tone to her voice that oozes pure quality, whatever the genre of music. Her performance of 'At Last' during the Ceremony was without question the best rendition of this much reproduced number that I have ever heard, including by Etta James. It was so good it caused a brief pause in everyone's joy for the married couple, as they went to sign the Register, whilst they registered the stunning sound, and this was captured perfectly on the video. Lisa performed a wide range of music equally well, including some traditional Irish music and other requests and was top class throughout. I lost count of how many guests complimented the beauty of her performances from start to finish and the fact that she set the perfect mood for a perfect day. It is certainly a sentiment that I echo loudly and I will forever remember and be grateful for the massive contribution that Lisa made to the happiest day of my daughter's life, and to one of my own."

"Now that Zish and I are back from our honeymoon we wanted to say "Thankyou" yet again for the fantastic job you did on our wedding night. Zish and I both really enjoyed it, and loads of people have complemented us on our choice - you did a great job of getting people onto the dance floor. Even people who asked me if I was mad having a ceilidh turned around and told me how glad they were to have been proved wrong, and I know about 2 of the Irish guys surprised everyone by getting up to dance when normally they say "Over my dead body"! Some of Zish's colleagues suggested making ceilidh dancing a regular team event!"

"The perfect choice for our annual summer fete (6th September 2025 Saturday Arlington Square, London, N1}. Mick & Co entered into the spirit of the event and kept everyone happy with a great mix of music. They were so popular that numerous people have already demanded that we book them for next year's fete... Many thanks again for providing the music for our Fete. I've heard nothing but compliments about the band. It's a bit early for that, but the Fete is always the first Saturday in September, so you might want to pencil in 5 Sep 2026 for a possible gig. We haven't done all the sums yet, but it looks like this year's affair broke all records when it came to fund-raising – over £5,000 to be shared between three local good causes! I'm sure the good vibe generated by yesterday's music encouraged the crowd to be generous. Please pass on our warmest thanks to Carlene, Caroline and Mick. I look forward to seeing you all again. All the ages enjoyed themselves and in particular the younger people who had never attended a ceilidh before and had such a good evening. "What a fantastic band! The booking process was easy and seamless, communication was great, and the band created a brilliant atmosphere at our joint 40th/60th family birthday party. Our very experienced caller got all the guests on the dance floor - with ages from 3 to 83, and a number of guests with wheelchairs, walkers and other mobility needs, that was no mean feat! We had a wonderful evening, and made some brilliant memories that will last a lifetime. All the guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thank you so much to the band for making our special evening such a success!"

"Funk With Us played at our wedding last weekend and were absolutely amazing!! I would highly recommend them for any wedding or other event. So many of our guests kept asking how we'd found them because they just blew everyone away with their vocals, energy, song choices and just all around fun! So so so good! It felt like Lilac and the rest of the band just brought the good times back! "

"We both wanted to extend our thanks for the wonderful music the BVB accordion and fiddle duo performed for us on our wedding day. We both had an amazing time and really felt that Mike and Jase added to the day immeasurably. Stef in particular enjoyed the special attention that was given to her by the duo - the guys played an instrumental version of her favourite song - and we both loved seeing family members singing along to Dutch classics. The interaction with the duo themselves was excellent and certainly helped us feel relaxed in both the run up to and on the day itself."
