"What a ceilidh and what a band! By far the best ceilidh we have ever experienced. Over half of the guests had never been to a ceilidh before, but the walk-throughs were incredibly clear and ensured that everyone picked up the steps really quickly. The band managed to get so many guests up and dancing that we had to expand the size of our dance-floor, twice! The ceilidh was the highlight of the evening. We received a large number of compliments from the guests about the quality of the music. We would thoroughly recommend It's No' Reel to anyone!"

"The music was really lovely" Thank you so much for playing at our wedding (9th September 2023* Saturday Ruskin House, 23 Coombe Rd, Croydon CR0 1BD}.The music was really lovely and it's a testament to how great it was that so many people were dancing on such a hot day! "I had the best time with the Barn Buskers celebrating my 50th birthday. From the minute I booked them to the moment they had to leave they were brilliant. The youngest guest was 2, the oldest was 85 and everybody said what a fantastic time they had. Knees hurt but cheeks hurt more from all the smiling and laughing. The caller did extraordinarily well keeping us all together. Note to self.....must learn left from right 😂😂 If you are looking for some talented musicians with a flare to keep the party going, at a pace that suits your needs, then look no further. I believe a friend has booked them for their wedding next year, and I for one can't wait to do it all again 🩷 Huge thank you to Judy and co. Truly a most memorable day 🩷🥳"

"These guys provided such an awesome ceilidh at our wedding. We had a lot of in experienced and multinational guests and the caller did an incredible job of getting everyone involved and having fun. It was a real highlight of the night for us and we can't recommend these guys enough!"

"Rejigged at my 30th birthday party Thank you so much to Rejigged band who absolutely made our birthday party come to life - everyone left with beaming smiles on their faces. The caller had great energy and encouraged us all out onto the dance floor with good humour, even the shy ones got up and danced! The band were really organised and communicated well before the event. We had such fun stomping around the hall that we actually damaged the ceiling of the room below! "Thank you so much to Steve and the band for a fantastic party. Steve made arrangements at very short notice to help provide a band for our party. The dances were explained very well and all ages and abilities were able to join in with the fun. The band played a special birthday song for the birthday girl which she loved! Even weeks after the party guests are still talking about how great the band was and how much fun the afternoon was. We would highly recommend Blue Jewel!!! "

"Whilst some duos stick to a traditional & tried and tested route, A & B have avoided that. They have chosen a hip approach to their covers and original set! Not a light-hearted approach either! They are here to play... to give a new listening experience... a must see in the LIVE! Unique in all aspects."

"Big thanks to Davie, Stevie and Gordon of The Shooglers for playing at my wedding at Killearn Village Hall. They were great at talking us through the dances as half of our guests had no previous experience of ceilidh dancing. Their rocky twist is done fantastically well and they cleverly link classic rock songs into the traditional ceilidh music. We first saw them play at the ghillie dhu and so I can safely say they are very versatile with the events they play. The guys are very down to earth and easy to sort out the logistics through email. Thanks again guys, we will definitely look out for you if you play any public events again! "

"……a HUGE thank you Murphy’s Lore, for an amazing evening of fantastic music, great entertainment and wonderful atmosphere ! You matched the dances perfectly to take into account the extreme heat and the great age range …….. just 4 years old to 84 …… Great calling and encouragement ( in the heat !) Noeleen ….. you are amazing !!! My personal favourite has to be the last dance the coil and processional “wedding dance “ ….. brilliant !!! I've had loads of great feedback from friends and family re the FUN that they all had …. whether it was dancing themselves or watching others’ varying attempts …. What a laugh !!! July 2026"
