"The Shooglers delivered a fun and lively ceilidh and dealt with some organisational glitches on our side very professionally and without complaint. Our timings had drifted badly and the disco we had booked took all the space we had reserved for The Shooglers. The band was very professional, and flexible and set up at the other end of the marquee and delivered a very professional, fun ceilidh. "

"I had the best time with the Barn Buskers celebrating my 50th birthday. From the minute I booked them to the moment they had to leave they were brilliant. The youngest guest was 2, the oldest was 85 and everybody said what a fantastic time they had. Knees hurt but cheeks hurt more from all the smiling and laughing. The caller did extraordinarily well keeping us all together. Note to self.....must learn left from right 😂😂 If you are looking for some talented musicians with a flare to keep the party going, at a pace that suits your needs, then look no further. I believe a friend has booked them for their wedding next year, and I for one can't wait to do it all again 🩷 Huge thank you to Judy and co. Truly a most memorable day 🩷🥳"

"Absolutely breathtaking! Just couldn't stop saying 'wow'! So professional with a quirky twist. The music was extremely engaging right from the start and the dancing got everyone up on their feet. "We absolutely loved having Black Velvet Band play our wedding ceilidh at Clearwell Castle. My husband is from Scotland so we wanted a traditional Scottish ceilidh feel with some of the classics, and we were not disappointed! We had a good feeling about Black Velvet band from the moment we booked them - and sure enough, Mike and the guys were absolutely fantastic and made our evening party a huge success. The band were great and the instructions on the ceilidh dances were so helpful; even those of our party who may not have normally danced were up there loving life on the dancefloor. The fun and friendly atmosphere they created was just fab and so different from your ‘usual’ evening do. All our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the ceilidh and some said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We would 100% book the band again and recommend them to friends.
