"Although not 5 piece as requested, 4 piece was more than sufficient. (It saved £100 as well). We did dances not done before plus two/ three favourites so really good. The calling was good and as usual patience was required in sorting out the muddles!! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, so a big thank you to the DGB ceilidh band and we would definitely recommend them and have them again."

"Everybody thoroughly enjoyed the evening and I was delighted with how many of the youngsters were prepared to give it a go! My daughter's feet are covered in blisters and my husband had cramp in his thighs all night. Too much dancing... Thank you again. Best wishes, Sue"

"Black Velvet Band provided a five piece ceilidh band and caller for the finale of the Hawkins’ team building event. We thought the room would be too big – but we were wrong! The band brought an absolute gem of a caller, who read the crowd perfectly and the dance floor was full throughout the evening. We could have done with a larger space! The band was superb and the event was enjoyed by all concerned. I thoroughly recommend the band."

"Annasach played for our wedding in June 2018 near Livingston, where most of the guests were not regular ceilidh goers but almost all got up to give it a go! Thanks to the team for the rousing tunes and good calling, which made even the novices feel that they could join in the fun. We loved Auld Lang Syne at the end too - a brilliant end to our special day. Annasach were easy to deal with and professional from the beginning, we would definitely recommend them to others looking for a ceilidh band for their event. We look forward to attending one of their public ceilidhs again soon!"

"Thanks you so much The Shooglers for playing at our wedding in April. I booked you after receiving a recommendation from the bass player of my own band. He was at a function you guys were playing at last year and he raved about you so much I was really glad you were able to play for us. There were guests from Canada, Dublin and New Zealand at our wedding and they were all joining in and everyone had a superb night. I especially enjoyed how you blended in rock and pop tunes with some of the Ceilidh dances. "Just a quick note to thank you for playing at the wedding of my daughter Emma and Nathaniel's wedding on the 29th December at the Old Swan Hotel. Iam sorry that I was unable to catch you on the evening and express my thanks as the ceilidh capped a wonderful day. For many of the guests this was their first experience of a ceilidh as we had guests from Australia, Japan, Switzerland and Canada. They/we loved it and you made the dance routines very clear with your instructions. Those that could no dance really the live music. Please pass on my gratitude to the other musicians. "We booked Kelly’s Heroes for our Mums 70th Birthday party. There was a large spectrum of ages and their music was enjoyed by all! Outstanding service from start to finish. They played ALL the family favourites from their set list and EVERYONE was raving about their performance! Easily the BEST IRISH BAND I’ve seen.
