"Laura came along last minute to perform for my ballet school’s event in London and even helped back stage when she had an hour before performing. She was incredible and to be able to play the nutcracker so wonderfully with just a days notice is beyond me! Thank you thank you thank you!!!"

"Absolutely stellar band! We booked Ceol Beag for our evening entertainment at our postgraduate research conference. We enquired about a month before (so pretty last minute!) and got a quick response with flexible availability. They showed up near an hour before they were due to start and were left to setup themselves while we managed the other side of the event. The band themselves are lovely people, and the caller helped motivate our attendees and direct them on what to do, which was a massive help considering we had a large number of international students in attendance. Everyone who attended loved the ceilidh and asked for another one next year. It was rated the best part of the event. Definitely recommend Ceol Beag!"

"Hired for a Ceilidh at our wedding. Super easy to organise and on the day the band and callers were lovely. Adapted very quickly when everyone was getting too hot and we managed to do the rest of the sets outside which was amazing."

"Attended the Sewerby Food Festival this weekend. Great festival with cookery demos from Wolds Cookery School, but the event was really enhanced by the Shamrock Experience - really talented band which kept the visitors entertained and generated a great atmosphere "

"Blue Jewel were everything we had hoped for. They were lively with a big variety of music and dances. The caller was excellent and everybody had a really enjoyable evening! We would thoroughly recommend them! Thanks Steve you were great!"

"I have used this ceilidh band on numerous occasions; and with each event, it seems to get better and better! It's No' Reel Ceilidh Band provide an electric and cultural experience which has left hundreds of our members extremely pleased. I would highly recommend booking them!"

"Hi Dermot Just to thank you for your and the band's entertainment gig at our daughters's recent wedding. It was obvious that each band member was a professional both in proficency of instrument and presentation of the music. I was also impressed with the mix of old classical Irish (re O'Carolan) and the more recent lively musical pieces. Indeed, the songs also exhibited this diversity with noted classics and singalong standards. It was assuring when the band arrived with ample time for set-up and ready to play on cue. Thanks again. "Words cannot describe how pleased we are about the exceptional entertainment provided by Dave, Mike and Gerry at our wedding in Durham. Their fantastic repertoire truly added a special and unique touch to our evening, and provided many of our guests from all corners the world a wonderful introduction to British folk music. Not to mention how patient and friendly their caller Dave was especially in teaching the dances to our guests, many of whom had never danced a Ceilidh before. In addition, their cheerfulness and easygoing disposition really helped us and our guests have a marvellous time. To this day, our guests still constantly praise the ceilidh music provided during the evening. Thank you so much and we would recommend them over and over again to anyone seeking quality entertainment for any event."

Any questions we had prior to the Wedding you were always available it made the planning so easy for us. "They were lovely people and everyone there enjoyed their music. It was a Country Fair and due to their efforts we had people dancing on the grass with straw bales around to sit on. Happy people! Job well done. Thank you. We would certainly book them again for another event."
