"How can I put it into words. This terrific band, Caravan Swing, rocked the wedding party. Exactly what we wanted - so so lucky! They really made our special day, tailoring their set to the occasion and even playing requests... of all sorts. Thank you guys!!!"

"Blue Jewel played our wedding in August 2023 and were absolutely amazing! Steve was really great to communicate with leading up the event and on the day they blew our guests away with a super varied set that had literally everyone on the dancefloor. There were a few ceilidh pros in the party who loved getting to know some new dances and there were also total amateurs who found it very accessible and developed a new love for dancing. I can't recommend them highly enough and will definitely be trying to come up with an excuse to have another ceilidh in the future!"

We were impressed with how The Shooglers enthused the many German guests with the spirit of ceilidh dancing, even though none of them had ever seen anything like it before! So many of our guests mentioned to us afterwards how much fun they had at the ceilidh too so many, many thanks! You guys are great! "

"Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band were brilliant from start to finish, from the moment I contacted them to the moment they left the party. E-mail conatct prior to the party was always timely and informative. Their performance was briiliant - they had everyone up dancing and they were so patient with all the children (and adults) learning the moves. I would most definately hire this band again. I also thought they were a very reasonable cost. Thank you Kip and friends. "

"We can't thank Juniper enough for doing such a fab Ceilidh for our wedding! Everything from start to finish was so professional and smooth. The band liaised with other musicians from the day re equipment and we didn't have to worry about a thing. The music was just fabulous - incredible players, amazing sound, lively and fun vibe and the band were so relaxed and are clearly very talented individuals and very well rehearsed. The caller was brilliant and had all our guests up and dancing immediately. They were very good at explaining the more complicated dances and held the room very well. Our guests had such a lovely time and all commented how amazing the band was and how much fun they had. The Ceilidh really made our wedding special and we would most definitely book the band again."

From our very first conversation, she was warm, professional, and attentive to every detail, ensuring all our requests were handled in such a personal and reassuring way. We had a specific song in mind for the start of our ceremony, and Lyra Strings performed it beautifully. It created the most romantic and emotional atmosphere, and so many of our guests came up to tell us how much they loved it. Even days later, we were still receiving messages about how her music was one of the standout moments of the day. We chose a mix of classical and modern pieces, and each one was performed with such elegance—it truly set the tone for a perfect day. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lyra Strings. "BM Ceilidh were excellent! They pitched it right for our inexperienced group, getting among us to ensure we were right and keeping steps fairly straight forward. Additionally, they were very good at trying to keep us on track with timings when we stopped for food as well as playing while we talked and recovered between dances"
