"The band played at our wedding on 23rd July 2022 and we’re incredible. Whilst everyone was having drinks and chatting after dinner, the band set up with seamless transition and started our evening party with a great set. They do something for everyone, we had the oldies up dancing alongside our young guests, and all having a good hearty sing along. And the Irish twist to the set was so much fun. Something different to a standard cover band. It was this part of the set that our guests still talk about. Thank you for giving us a the best end to our wonderful day. "WOW! A blast of energy! You all rocked the house and with only 5 people gave us a full soul-Motown sound that just blew us away. Even had a little drink with us at the end of the evening and Remko made sure the music was playing right till everyone's left. True professionals, recommended!!!"

" We hired the Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio for a party, and we could not have been happier with their performance. The band’s admin team reached out prior to the event to make arrangements, and communication was maintained throughout. Set up was quick and efficient in the background of our event, and before we knew it, we were forming lines for our first Ceilidh. It was a mixed group in terms of experience, but Phil delivered clear instructions prior to each dance, and everyone quickly picked it up. The trio are all exceptionally skilled musicians, and the music throughout the dancing was fantastic. We booked two hours of dancing and found that to be the perfect amount of time post-dinner. Black Velvet Band created a fun and lively atmosphere at our event and the Ceilidh dancing was enjoyed by all. We will definitely be in contact with the band for future events and would recommend them to all."

"Everyone loved the music so much! We just wanted to say thank you to you and the band for last Saturday! (30th September 2023 Saturday St Stephens, Pond Street, Hampstead, London, NW3 2PP) Everyone loved the music so much! Apologies for any confusion over your location, it was meant to be inside but it was /such a nice day I think Patrick and Angie directed you outside which worked anyway. I wasn’t sure if you guys had any of the canapés, I did ask them to make sure you had some but I didn’t hear you have a break either so apologies if you didn’t. Absolutely brilliant and such lovely people too. We booked wraggle taggle for our wedding, Mick was responsive, organised and gave us plenty of options regarding instruments, set times etc. On the day the band were brilliant, all the guests loved them, and they were really friendly lovely people. "We wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the band for playing at our wedding last weekend. You were absolutely brilliant!! You played some of the family favourites just beautifully and absolutely filled the dance floor for our (ahem – unofficial) ceilidh. We had so much fun dancing the night away. I understand one of the 3 year old cousins asked you to play one of the tunes again – I suspect that is a moment that will go down in family history. Also – thank you so much for all your help before the wedding – I’m notoriously bad at returning phone calls and you were fantastic at staying in touch and keeping on top of communication – I really appreciated that."

"Black Velvet Band Irish Duo yet again provided fantastic music at our Christmas party. The duo are so flexible and helpful - this year they played quite a few Scottish reels etc for our Highland Themed Party which was perfect. The vibe was also just right and got lots of people up and dancing. It was a key contribution to the overall atmosphere. Please thank them for me. I highly recommend them! "
