"They were awesome, they were on time, they made sure the dance floor was big enough, helped sort the running order of the night but most importantly the music, vocals and calling were faultless. "A huge thankyou to Alistair and his fellow musicians who played at our party on Saturday. The music and combination of dances was perfect and we had many comments on your patience with our lack of prowess on the dance floor!  A great band makes the evening and you certainly did that for us. We all enjoyed it enormously and many of the thankyou letters we have received said what a superb band you were. All we need now is an excuse to ask you back again ! "

"We hired John and his band as a quintet for our wedding and what a wonderful choice. The guys travelled to the New Forest for us for our big day. Superb sound and multi talented. They provided a substantive song list to choose from plus a couple of extra requests. They had everyone up and rocking. Wonderful Irish sound and a memorable singalong to ‘Dirty Old Town’ to more modern music. On top of that lovely guys with a warm personality who really looked like they enjoyed performing. Recommended for any event. Many thanks for helping our day memorable. Paul and Jo"

"We have barely stopped smiling since Saturday night (or the early hours of Sunday morning)! We had a brilliant time, Angus and his friends had a brilliant time, and reports from our friends and family have also said that it was a memorable evening, for all the right reasons. So thank you to you and the band for your part in ensuring the evening was fabulous and kept everyone entertained right up to the last dance. Well done! That arrangement of Mission Impossible was rather apt at the hour you played it! I loved the mix of traditional and modern."

"Following many hours of researching for a ceilidh band for our wedding (August 2021), we decided on Blue Jewel. After an evening of brilliant music, lively calling and enthusiastic dancing, we now simply cannot recommend them enough. They are an incredibly friendly group who worked in partnership with us on the day to help create an evening that we will never forget. With a series of different dances (led by clear and directive calling), all creating a sea of smiles and energy, they are an incredibly talented group. And even despite a slight delay in the timings (from our side), they were both patient and understanding. "
