"Rebecca helped to make our day very special. She was very professional, didn't need any involvement from us on the day (which was really good). She played exactly what we had selected to the highest standard, and added to the whole ambience of the day. We would not hesitate to recommend her and our guests were all as impressed as we were. A truly beautiful addition to a really lovely day."

"Brilliant band for my sons charity night in Northampton. I booked a 5 piece as I wanted a fiddle player, great musicians, Steve top singer, Luke the engineer was really kind and very helpful with a video link of Zac. "I booked Black Velvet Ceilidh Trio for my wife’s 50th Birthday barn dance. The booking process and communication was great. On the night, from the off, everyone was up dancing. The instructions were great and they really got us all into the spirit. Lots of comments from our friends about how good they were. Thanks to all for an amazing night of music and dance. Would definitely recommend. "

"I book Paddy for a number of pubs in Glasgow and he always gives a great performance. He has fantastic vocals, exceptional guitar skills and always works with the crowd picking the songs they want. He is happy to play requests if he can and has been known to give great renditions of songs he has never done before on the spot."

"As a passionate fan of Irish folk music, my daughters arranged for Paul Brennan band to come and play at my 60th birthday party as a surprise. They didn't dissapont , with a brilliant selection of Irish music and songs it was lovely evening. Paul's mastering of the Ulian pipes has to be seen to be believed. They were very friendly and played everything we asked for. I would definitely book them again."

"Hi Fiddlestix, Thanks again for the wonderful ceilidh you and your band put on for us last Saturday. I have written a review for you to use below. Warm regards Julie Fiddlestix played a mix of English, Irish and Scottish music at our wedding breakfast in December. Both the musicians and the caller were excellent and we all thoroughly enjoyed the ceilidh. Many of our guests took to the floor, some of whom had never participated in a dance before. When numbers dwindled at the end of the evening, the band switched to performing Elvis Presley songs which got some of our remaining guests up and dancing. People have told us how much they enjoyed the music. Thank you, Fiddlestix, for providing us with such fun. Julie"

"Paddy provided the entertainment for a members night. The two sets went down an absolute storm and it felt like he had tuned right into the crowd and what got them on the dance floor. It was more than just great songs, his sense of humour shone through talking to the crowd between numbers. Highly recommend and we will be booking him for future events."
