"A fantastically talented and professional duo who seem to enjoy an encyclopaedic knowledge of music from Central and Eastern Europe. Although they are only two musicians they produce the sound of a small orchestra. Igor possesses a very fine voice and his renditions of Moscow Nights, Ochi Chornie and Those Were the Days (among a huge list of songs) are second to none. Sarah is a brilliant violinist and domra player. They enhanced our evening and made it quite unforgettable. "

The ceilidh/disco combination suited everybody, and we were delighted that you were able to persuade so many people to join in. The instruction you provided was just right, gently mocking our general ineptitude and praising effusively when we got something right! We would definitely be happy to ask you to perform at our next daughter’s wedding (but I’m hoping this will be a few years in the future …). "Following many hours of researching for a ceilidh band for our wedding (August 2021), we decided on Blue Jewel. After an evening of brilliant music, lively calling and enthusiastic dancing, we now simply cannot recommend them enough. They are an incredibly friendly group who worked in partnership with us on the day to help create an evening that we will never forget. With a series of different dances (led by clear and directive calling), all creating a sea of smiles and energy, they are an incredibly talented group. And even despite a slight delay in the timings (from our side), they were both patient and understanding. "

"Huge thank you for the superb Ceilidh at our wedding! You were all fantastic and both we and our guests absolutely loved it. Music was superb, the calling was perfect and just the right pace. A lot of our guests had come from overseas and had a blast! Was so great to have this sort of event that all different cultures could get behind and instantly love. Went down an absolute storm."

"The band played at my daughter’s wedding reception on Saturday and really made the evening go with a swing. All the communication in the run up to the event was good – what music we were looking for, arrangements about set up, timings, etc. Musically, they are an excellent band."

"What a great time everybody had. The Reverend and The Willow St Wanderers where amazing two very nice young men with great voices guitar and harmonica also had a shot on piano I would recommend them anytime. Thank you boys and Sarah for organise everything. They where amazing everybody loved the them and the music they played was just perfect."
