"Just outstanding! Utterly professional from the first contact to the end of the wedding party, the Blue Jewel was a component that I really did not have to worry about and boy, did they deliver! The guests had a fabulous time; so much laughter and joy down to the littlest people! Great clear calling, never patronising, using our names and lots of lovely personal touches by Kip, who is a superb caller. The band showed great musicianship and were a complete asset. Lots of guests commented how good they were and what a great time they had at the Ceilidh. I recommend Blue Jewel without any reservation."

"We booked Rachel to perform a solo act at our wedding ceremony to include playing me down the aisle. She was absolutely incredible; beautiful voice, really talented guitarist and we were thrilled. She played me down the aisle to an Ellie Goulding track which was performed better than Ellie herself (in my humble opinion). I can't thank you enough Rachel. "

"We were looking for a Ceilidh band for our wedding anniversary and we came across the Willow Tree Barn Dance Band, and they were absolutely fantastic and would highly recommend them. All our guests commented on how good they were, and Mick was great in getting everyone up dancing with instructions on the particular routine for each song. We booked with Last Minute Musicians and the whole process was so easy, and Sarah-Jayne was wonderful to work with through the arrangement stages. We would highly recommended them both."

"Thanks to the band for the entertainment provided at our fundraising ceilidh at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange. With Mike's dance-calling all dancers were able to perform even the more complex ones with no major disasters on the floor! Thanks to Phil for being so adaptable with the various events we had, and to all the band for making it a great night."

Only problem was I ran out of shoogleness and had to get a breather and realised I was missing more while I was outside, what a bummer! "Rachel played a set on our wedding day and put in a flawless performance. Rachel was on time, setup all her equipment without any fuss (a blessing on a day when we had a million things to organise) and put on a fantastic show that really made our day special. "BM Ceilidh Band were exceptional for our Military Burns formal dinner night. Dave was lovely to work with on the lead up to the event, and catered for a last minute date change with no fuss – thank you so much for that. On the night Dave, Alan and Gerry were just excellent! Their knowledge and variety of Ceilidh songs ensured the night was a roaring success with the dance floor full for every song. The combination of the Melodian, Guitar and superb singing really made the night special. 100% would recommend to anyone and hope to have them again for future events. "
