"Wow – what a band. Deeanee is an exceptionally talented singer. The were especially tailored for the event and we were up dancing or singing along to each and every one! A fantastic evening enjoyed by all and we would thoroughly recommend Country Bound – Midlands for a wedding, birthday anniversary or any event!"

" Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio performed at our Wedding reception. The music was fantastic and Alan the caller talked our guests through the dances with patience and wit. Our guests included some serious Scottish dancing enthusiasts together with a lot of enthusiastic amateurs, complete beginners and no hopers - all of whom had an absolute blast! We would highly recommend the band and a couple of our guests made enquiries about booking them for upcoming events, which speaks for itself. Thank you for providing us with fantastic memories filled with joy and laughter. "

"Very many thanks to your lovely band who played at my party on Saturday night - we all had a great time and the band sounded wonderful. Could you also thank the caller (I'm terribly sorry I can't remember her name) who coped with a tough crowd admirably - she had to deal with folk who knew very well what they were doing, complete novices and everything in between, along with some wee ones. She did a grand job, thank you."

"We had a fantastic joint 30th birthday party for 60 people and the Black Velvet Ceilidh Band did an amazing job of making the evening a huge success! Mike gave me a call a couple of weeks prior to the event to confirm all arrangements such as timings, location, numbers, and the experience of the party goers (very mixed - lots of complete beginners). Mike was really enthusiastic on the phone and I felt very confident all was going to go well. At the beginning of the evening, we were pretty disorganized and neither James or I were there to meet the band on arrival, but our friend saw them into the venue and they were very flexible and happy to go with the flow and got set up really quickly. The whole band were keen to help and happily agreed to start the ceilidh a little later than planned, as well as letting me use the mic to make announcements! The 2 x 1 hour sets of ceilidh dancing were amazing and both the calling and music were fantastic - our guests absolutely loved every moment of it and have all said how much they enjoyed the music and dancing. Thank you very much to the whole band for an excellent evening, we would recommend you to anyone! "

"Would definitely recommend! We booked the guys for our wedding and from the booking process to the night of the event, Lilac and Ceilidh With Us were so professional, easily contactable, and friendly. On the night the performance (both ceilidh and covers) was brilliant and brought so much energy and joy to our wedding. These guys are great!"

"We hired this band 'Barn With Us' for our Company Summer Party 2 weeks ago, The weather had been horrendous that morning right up until they arrived! Not only did they bring the sunshine with them, they also brought the PARTY! They are so good! They had people up line dancing and joining in, everyone had so much fun. Remko and Lilac make such a good team, and the other band members support them well too. We would definitely not only recommend them, but we would also book them again ourselves. 10 out of 10 for you guys. 💜"
