"There was so much positive resonance in the air from the enjoyment you, Steve and Gordon created with your music and leadership. Many people commented on the numerous smiley faces and the delight at being with others, taking exercise. “Their best party in two years”! Thank you, all, for sharing your musical flair and enabling a fun evening. We are well aware there would be nothing without your skills. Yes, there was some rust amongst the brain cells but it was also noticeable that very few dances were sat out!"

"What a superb band for our wedding party - the guys were lovely, really friendly and helpful and got everyone involved and having the time of their lives! A ceilidh is such fun and a great way to ensure *all* your guests are involved in the celebrations - there were smiles on the faces of everyone dancing, and everyone watching! I cannot recommend this highly enough - absolutely delightful, highly professional, and a total pleasure to work with to make sure we had an unforgettable evening"

"Lilac and her team were absolutely amazing on Friday night! , I still haven’t recovered. We had a wonderful barn dance for my birthday party . The music was sensational and they even learnt a new song just for me and made a cracking job of it too. They kindly played on extra time which was brilliant and very much appreciated. I could not have asked for better entertainment."

"From the moment I stepped into the barn and heard Blue Jewel playing I knew we'd made the best decision. Their music made us and all of our guests smile from start to finish. They got lots of people up dancing and the atmosphere was great. Steve was so reliable through the planning stages, replying to all emails within a few hours. We can't recommend these guys enough!!! "Davie,Nicky and I are just back from a trip up north and have only now got 'connected' to the outside world again. Just a wee note to thank you and the rest the Shooglers for an amazing ceilidh at our wedding at Lunga. We loved it and everyone else did too, more than a few folk took your cards and are trying to think of an excuse to have their own ceilidh and book you guys for it! We'll keep an eye on the local ceilidh clubs and if you’re playing in this part of the world again and we'll get ourselves along to it. Thanks again. "

"The ceilidh was all amazing, couldn’t fault it. The caller worked really hard to make sure everyone at least sort of had a clue what they were doing, and adapted it for when there were too many couples and not enough space! Only complaint is that he almost killed me making me do Strip the Willow line twice with my very enthusiastic husband!! Thanks for everything 😊"

"Please pass on a huge thanks to the band for last night! They got the crowd going and kept them under ‘control’ with a brilliant blend of instructions and banter even as we inevitably got a little rowdier towards the end. "We hired Charlotte for my Mum's 80th birthday party barn dance in Worthing on Saturday. It was a great evening with live music from Charlotte and Richard (fiddle, banjo, accordion). Not everybody got up to dance but you'll always get that. For those that did we had a very entertaining evening with lots of laughter and my Mum loved it."
