"The band was brilliant. Could not recommend enough. the choice of music, the energy they brought to the event was great. Very easy to work with, and very professional. Sound quality was great, even though the venue was quite small with hard surfaces, and the band did their homework about setting up and worked with us. A excellent choice, and would defo use them again. "

"No one talks about our wedding without mentioning the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band. These talented musicians provided the perfect end to the perfect day. Somehow everyone, even the shyest of our guests, got up and danced the night away with the infectious enthusiasm of the band. The ceilidh provided a relaxed, fun way for all of our guests to mix and meet one another, and allowed us to dance with everyone! Both myself and my husband adore folk music, and we could not have chosen a friendlier, more talented band than the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band. A particular highlight was when the band performed a traditional wedding piece, where all of our guests danced around us who were sat in the middle! I cannot recommend this band enough, wonderfully warm people with superb talent. Obviously we were on a budget paying for a whole wedding, but these guys are very reasonably priced and deliver much more than the price we paid. Thank you all very, very much for giving us the wedding reception we dreamed of."

The moment you walked through the restaurant playing “All of Me” was incredibly moving. From that point on, Sabrina started to realise that something very special was about to happen – and it truly was. Your presence and music created exactly the magic I had imagined. Please also pass on my warmest thanks to Phil for capturing the moment so discreetly and beautifully. Our families were thrilled to see the video – it brought them so much joy. "Hi Dermot Just to thank you for your and the band's entertainment gig at our daughters's recent wedding. It was obvious that each band member was a professional both in proficency of instrument and presentation of the music. I was also impressed with the mix of old classical Irish (re O'Carolan) and the more recent lively musical pieces. Indeed, the songs also exhibited this diversity with noted classics and singalong standards. It was assuring when the band arrived with ample time for set-up and ready to play on cue. Thanks again. "Wonderful - first Ceilidh experience in Aberdeen with my family and in laws. We had so much fun and we danced all night with our baby and everyone. Wonderful people and amazing food :) Highly recommended"

"We were really struggling to find a band for our wedding and kept being let down. As soon as we heard their clip, we knew they were going to be a great fit for our wedding but we never expected them to be as amazing as they were. We were beyond impressed with the band on the night and their interaction with the party. They had everyone dancing on the floor and Phoebe’s voice is out of this world. Every member of the band interacted and were all incredible. All of our guests have not stopped raving about them and we were constantly asked how they could hire them for their own events. We would 110% use Stargazers again and recommend them so highly for anyone who wants an incredible evening."

"Dermot’s music was one of the highlights of our wedding day. Having moved our wedding from Ireland to the UK due to Covid, we really wanted to capture the emotion and essence of an Irish wedding, and the music and drinks reception were perfect! During our walk down the aisle there wasn’t a dry eye in the house! Beforehand Dermot organised zoom rehearsal with my sister in law so she could sing alongside him confidently during the ceremony and I know she was extremely grateful. The impromptu singalong during the drinks reception was a highlight for so many of us (and staff at the venue!). Dermot was professional, courteous, flexible and my only regret was that we had to leave the drinks reception to for the wedding breakfast! We are so grateful to him and could not recommend him enough."

"The Shooglers played at my brother’s wedding this weekend and were AMAZING!! Doing the Dashing White Sergeant to a ceilidhfied cover of Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in The Wall" was a particular highlight! "
