"From the moment I stepped into the barn and heard Blue Jewel playing I knew we'd made the best decision. Their music made us and all of our guests smile from start to finish. They got lots of people up dancing and the atmosphere was great. Steve was so reliable through the planning stages, replying to all emails within a few hours. We can't recommend these guys enough!!! "Thank you all very much for coming to play at The Royal Thames last evening – the music was excellent – as was the address and grace – thank you Stuart for helping us out on that too!  And Jill you were amazing to keep control of such an unruly bunch – the older ones as well as the young – and stop it descending into chaos!!  Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and it made a very happy evening with families and age groups.  I think certain people may find it difficult to get up for work this morning!"

"No one talks about our wedding without mentioning the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band. These talented musicians provided the perfect end to the perfect day. Somehow everyone, even the shyest of our guests, got up and danced the night away with the infectious enthusiasm of the band. The ceilidh provided a relaxed, fun way for all of our guests to mix and meet one another, and allowed us to dance with everyone! Both myself and my husband adore folk music, and we could not have chosen a friendlier, more talented band than the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band. A particular highlight was when the band performed a traditional wedding piece, where all of our guests danced around us who were sat in the middle! I cannot recommend this band enough, wonderfully warm people with superb talent. Obviously we were on a budget paying for a whole wedding, but these guys are very reasonably priced and deliver much more than the price we paid. Thank you all very, very much for giving us the wedding reception we dreamed of."

"It's No' Reel performed at our wedding at the Albert Halls in Stirling in November. After hearing such great things about them, we actually changed the date of our wedding to ensure they would be free to play! They didn't disappoint on the day. With a mixture of Scottish, English and international guests we thought we would have some ceilidh followed by a disco, but in the end everyone was having such a good time that we just kept on with the ceilidh. From my seven year old nephew to an octogenarian great-aunt, everyone was up dancing all the time. And once the day was over we had a really fun Go Pro video to watch back. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend It's No' Reel to anyone wanting a memorable evening."

"Unfortunately we had a cancellation with the first band we chose. This band was our replacement! And I can safely say that I couldn’t have asked for a better band. In fact I’d go as far as saying I’m pleased we went through the stress of a short notice cancellation. They were so easy to deal with and worked to exactly what we wanted. They made our wedding evening perfect. Everyone loved them and danced right up until the very end. "

"Hi Steve, I just wanted to say a big thank you for the party on Saturday night, it went down a storm! My wife loved it (she's the important one, as it was her surprise party), and so did everybody else! Even the couple of teenagers that were there joined in! It literally was 8 to 80 years old's, although in didn't notice my mother in law dancing (she has had both hips replaced). I thoroughly recommend 'Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band' and will pass on your details to anybody looking for entertainment! Thanks again! Kevin "
