"BM Ceilidh were excellent! They pitched it right for our inexperienced group, getting among us to ensure we were right and keeping steps fairly straight forward. Additionally, they were very good at trying to keep us on track with timings when we stopped for food as well as playing while we talked and recovered between dances"

"Black Velvet Band provided a five piece ceilidh band and caller for the finale of the Hawkins’ team building event. We thought the room would be too big – but we were wrong! The band brought an absolute gem of a caller, who read the crowd perfectly and the dance floor was full throughout the evening. We could have done with a larger space! The band was superb and the event was enjoyed by all concerned. I thoroughly recommend the band."

"Luc has been a dream to deal with. Easy to book, great communication and flexible with song choice and had creative input on our ceremony and song recommendations. Luc's talent made our wedding day. Luc performed at our pre ceremony drinks, ceremony and post ceremony. Luc's solo during our ceremony allowed us to really take in the magic of the moment and his talent playing the harp is next level. Finding Luc was a gift. We would recommend luc to anyone. "Hi I had Lisa play for us at our wedding in December '13. She is an amazingly talented musician and very easy to work with when organising the music for the church and reception. We had some ideas of our own and Lisa was able to play the songs we requested as well as recommending a few more that beautiful on the day. She incorporated the harp and banjo into our requested songs and she has a voice that has to be heard to be believed! Lisa's music helped to create a very special atmosphere and made our day even more memorable! I could not recommend more highly!"
