"Luisa was great; just what our event needed. Luisa had a wonderful repertoire - also including an impromptu rendition of "Happy Birthday" for one of our guests. I know that everyone thoroughly enjoyed the surprise of seeing Luisa and her harp when they walked into the room and listening to the lovely music she played. Thank you so much."

"Thank you very much Sarah brilliant service . Especially when you had to find me a replacement band at such short notice. Absolute were absolutely (no pun intended ) fantastic . I would highly recommend them. They played at our wedding party . I could not not stop dancing as well as all the other guests. Thanks v much Absolute for making our Wedding party v special!"

"What an amazing band! I’ve heard bands which are great at the Scottish ceilidh stuff but not very good at any other styles. I’ve heard bands which are great at pop/rock/country/indie covers but couldn’t play a ceilidh dance to save their lives. You guys are amazing! You can play all the Scottish ceilidh stuff AND make it rocky AND play all these other styles from pop to rock to country to whatever! Amazing! "

Thank you too for letting us play our music on your speakers in the break and after. The lady who was the caller was great, really clear with her instructions and commanded everyone so well, thank you v much. It was an amazing wedding day - literally the best day of our lives. "Rastrum played for our Burns Night at the University of York last week and it was one of the most successful student events we've had in months! It was the perfect setting for students to relax and have fun with old and new friends. The atmosphere was just buzzing and we've already had requests from students asking to do this again. The band were flexible with our venue change and were generous with the dances. The caller was very clear and warm which made the evening incredibly inclusive, especially as over 100 of our students had no idea what a ceilidh was at the start of the evening! So by popular demand I think we'll be getting a ceilidh booked in again very soon. And last but not least, the band play together perfectly and the tunes they chose were brilliant. "
