"Hello! You played at our wedding at the Ghillie Dhu on 6th October. Just wanted to thank you so much for the amazing music which created such a buzz and atmosphere that I'll never forget!! You were absolutely fantastic and the talk of the day. All of our guests including the ones who admitted that they "hate a ceilidh", all said you were absolutely amazing and by far the best ceilidh band they had ever heard. Massive thanks again to you all!!! Xx "

"Hi Fiddlestix! We absolutely loved our barn dance and had the most amazing time!! Thankyou all so very much and thanks again for performing the special song for us to all have a slow dance to, we really appreciated it!!!!! All our guests said how lovely the whole thing was! I just felt so awful that you didn’t get your platter of food, I’m so so sorry, I promise you it was all arranged and paid for but the pub completely forgot apparently, I was not best pleased!! There wasn’t even enough food for the rest of the guests really as so many more came than we anticipated!!!!! Anyway thanks again for being amazing ❤️ Love Zoe and Hannah xxx "

"Hello Fiddlestix, We are just away on holiday but wanted to thank you, the band and your fabulous caller for getting our daughter’s wedding reception off to such a great start! We knew we had a few guests who would definitely get up and take part, but to have so many joining in the fun and to hear all of the glowing compliments afterwards was great! The cheesy disco afterwards was good fun too, but I think partly that was down to the fact everyone had had such a great laugh with their attempts at barn dancing and were keen to stay on the dance floor! "The Shooglers were one of the best Ceilidh Bands I have had the pleasure of attending. They were amazing, the performance on the night was great, they were able to gauge the crowd and manage to keep all involved. The communication and assistance with regard the first dance was excellent. Honesty was great with regards what they could and couldn't play as a first dance. Honestly one of the best bands. Would recommend them to anyone. Did themselves proud as it is a tough thing to do to trust a band with your wedding, but they were amazing."

"Although I was busy with guests and getting tea and supper ready, what I heard for Francis and Janet was absolutely lovely. The guests who were enjoying tea in the garden , listening and watching them said just how much they enjoyed it and how beautifully they played. So a big thank you.."

Mother thought that it was wonderful, and enjoyed her day immensely. Unfortunately I didn't see you leaving so I'm very sorry to have missed you. "Everyone loved the music so much! We just wanted to say thank you to you and the band for last Saturday! (30th September 2023 Saturday St Stephens, Pond Street, Hampstead, London, NW3 2PP) Everyone loved the music so much! Apologies for any confusion over your location, it was meant to be inside but it was /such a nice day I think Patrick and Angie directed you outside which worked anyway. I wasn’t sure if you guys had any of the canapés, I did ask them to make sure you had some but I didn’t hear you have a break either so apologies if you didn’t. Absolutely brilliant and such lovely people too. We booked wraggle taggle for our wedding, Mick was responsive, organised and gave us plenty of options regarding instruments, set times etc. On the day the band were brilliant, all the guests loved them, and they were really friendly lovely people. "A “big thank you” to the band for a wonderful, memorable day that made our wedding day unforgettable! Everyone enjoyed the music and the dancing. Even the left footed miseries got up to have a go, driven by your music and the attitude of the band. Pete particularly loved “The Greenfields of France” and “The Tweed”. He’s been singing them for days, driving me crazy! We can’t think of any one else that would have made our day so wonderful, (except Rod Stewart in person for Sue!), so thank you once again. It would not have been the same without you all! We look forward to seeing you soon. Meanwhile, keep up the good work!"

"Thank you very much for the recommending The Shooglers Band for the Warrant Officers and Senior Rates Mess Christmas Ball. The evening was a great success and I received several comments on how good the band was, and their ability to get people onto the dance floor and then of course keeping them there. I will certainly recommend them to others and also look to using them for future functions in the Mess. Once again many thanks. "
