"Funk With Us played at our wedding this weekend and they were absolutely FANTASTIC! High energy, super helpful and just a pleasure to work with, we cannot recommend them highly enough! Lilac and Remko both spoke with us in advance to get to know us a little better and find out more about the type of music we were interested in. Lilac gave us a call in the lead up, was available via whatsapp and was just generally super helpful. On the night of our wedding the dance floor was always filled with everyone singing and dancing along and having a really great time! So, so, so pleased we booked Funk With Us, thanks for making our wedding evening so awesome! Thanks Lilac, Remko and the rest of the band! "

"We were lucky to have Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band at our wedding in Devon last week. Fantastic band, beautiful music. Such a fun ceilidh that got everyone involved and made our wedding really special! "Thank you so much to Ceilidh With Us for all the band did for our wedding, we absolutely loved the ceilidh - it was so much fun and we are 100% satisfied! 😃 The caller was fantastic and explained everything very clearly. The music was really fun and it was helpful when songs got gradually faster; the speed was perfect. The band also managed the number of people well, as there were a lot of people for the space. The communication with the band has been absolutely fantastic as well in terms of meetings, arranging things behind the scenes, and coordinating with the venue. We ended up leaving a bit early simply because we were absolutely exhausted by that point, and the band were wonderful and accommodating in terms of changing the order of songs, so thank you for that - it was a shame we couldn’t stay right until the end!"

"Thank you so much for making our wedding the party of the year – everyone loved the music! Black Velvet Band Irish Trio played at our wedding reception and they were brilliant. I had worried whether people would want to dance to Irish music but I shouldn’t have. Everyone loved the music! We had a real proper Irish Hooley, with lots of dancing, singing-along and some humour in-between. As this was a marriage of cultures (English, Irish and Dutch) we were also touched that the band played a couple of traditional Dutch songs, allowing the Dutch to have a good sing-along as well. And when my dad asked if they could accompany him for a song to sing after his speech, it was no problem. The guys in the band are proper musicians who can play what the crowd needs to keep the party fuelled. The only complaint I have had is from my knees – which are still complaining, even after 4 days rest! Next time, I will wear trainers."

"A “big thank you” to the band for a wonderful, memorable day that made our wedding day unforgettable! Everyone enjoyed the music and the dancing. Even the left footed miseries got up to have a go, driven by your music and the attitude of the band. Pete particularly loved “The Greenfields of France” and “The Tweed”. He’s been singing them for days, driving me crazy! We can’t think of any one else that would have made our day so wonderful, (except Rod Stewart in person for Sue!), so thank you once again. It would not have been the same without you all! We look forward to seeing you soon. Meanwhile, keep up the good work!"
