"We were very happy with both the band and the caller at our wedding celebrations. You made things very easy for all ages to join in and my two year old grandson loved taking part - he had the time of his life! We were thoroughly impressed with the entire operation and we would certainly recommend you to anyone else considering a similar event. "

"You made our wedding reception utterly wonderful and so many of our guests have said how much they enjoyed the evening and the music. My 93 year old grandmother refused to leave until the end and her feet were tapping all evening....she even joined in the last dance and that has to be credit to you. One table of guests had never been to a ceilidh before and said how much fun it was. "

"We both wanted to extend our thanks for the wonderful music the BVB accordion and fiddle duo performed for us on our wedding day. We both had an amazing time and really felt that Mike and Jase added to the day immeasurably. Stef in particular enjoyed the special attention that was given to her by the duo - the guys played an instrumental version of her favourite song - and we both loved seeing family members singing along to Dutch classics. The interaction with the duo themselves was excellent and certainly helped us feel relaxed in both the run up to and on the day itself."

"Thanks again for make my mum's night so special. I will definitely recommend you to everyone should they need a band such as yourselves. My mum had a brilliant time and I managed to create the night I had planned in my head. So much so she couldn't sleep for the following 2 nights with the excitement of it all!!! "Ruby sang for us at our Annual Bubbles and Lunch Charity event for Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer in Dec at the Burlington Hotel in Birmingham which was attended by over 200 Business women. Ruby was amazing and kept our audience thoroughly entertained with her choice of great songs. She was also dressed beautifully like a Mrs Christmas which was very appropriate for this Christmas event. Ruby was very professional throughout our whole event and we would not hesitate in booking her again for another occasion."

"We booked Ruby for Pary in the park Sat 31st July. She is a lovely talented lady, very professional and offers such a range of music, everyone loved her. She is an artist with bags of enthusiasm, vocally unique and outstanding. She looked amazing and had such a stage presence. 5 stars to this lady, she is not to be missed x "

"We were delighted with the ceilidh band; they were lovely, professional and sounded brilliant! I was really impressed how they matched the energy of the guests really well, making sure to give little breaks or easier dances when energy was flagging and also played some lovely high energy numbers to get the dancing started! The venue was also really complimentary at how quick and professional they were at setting up and putting away at the end with no bother. Lastly, they pitched the level perfectly with some more difficult pieces and some easier ones that really suited our mostly beginner crowd. Their calling was fun and upbeat and they were polite and professional to a fault. "Lyra Strings played at our wedding ceremony, and she was absolutely incredible. She was more than happy to learn a few of our favorite songs that weren’t on her usual setlist, and her communication in the lead-up to the event was always warm, professional, and helpful. On the day, she exceeded all our expectations—I lost count of the number of guests who complimented her performance! One of my most treasured moments was walking down the aisle while she played ‘Halo’ by Beyoncé. Now I just need another big occasion so I have an excuse to book her again! Highly, highly recommended. "
