"What a fantastic band! The booking process was easy and seamless, communication was great, and the band created a brilliant atmosphere at our joint 40th/60th family birthday party. Our very experienced caller got all the guests on the dance floor - with ages from 3 to 83, and a number of guests with wheelchairs, walkers and other mobility needs, that was no mean feat! We had a wonderful evening, and made some brilliant memories that will last a lifetime. All the guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thank you so much to the band for making our special evening such a success!"

"Amazing live set, played all our favourite songs! Such a lovely voice and a lovely chap on top of that. Ended our special day with his DJ set and had to whole room on their feet til the very end!"

"For our wedding on 22nd April 2018 we had the absolute pleasure of having Blackbeard's Tea Party as our ceilidh band. They are an amazing band and had everyone up dancing throughout the ceilidh. If your planning on a ceilidh for your wedding then look no further they were professional throughout and we couldn't have asked for anything more!"

"My birthday ceilidh was extremely enjoyable and the band played a large part in setting and sustaining a lively and very jolly atmosphere! It certainly wasn't hard to get people on their feet and dancing and Alan's calling was clear and simple enough to follow, though, of course, not everyone managed to do so absolutely all the time. A great and memorable evening. Many thanks to Black Velvet"

"A huge thank you to Tom and the Its No Reel band who were brilliantly superb from our first email to the last dance of our wedding. No query went unanswered nor late and Tom accommodated our every needs. It couldn't have been easier booking them and we knew just how good their ceilidh music was from their videos. Our families are frequent ceilidh dancers and they were very impressed by the music and calling and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Even those unknown to ceilidh dancing were happily enticed to the dance floor and taken through the steps. The ceilidh was one of the most fun parts of our wedding day and I'd highly recommend everyone to hire Its No Reel! Thank you very much for a fantastic end to our wedding day and we hope to see you again!"

"We are so grateful to Black Velvet Ceilidh Band for their last minute flexibility in playing for our wedding! We moved the wedding forward by a month to beat the lockdown and the band not only made themselves available on the new date, but also changed the style of music with just 3 days notice! Firstly their contactability and organisation was brilliant, making the booking and discussions with them hassle-free. Ceilidh would no longer have been appropriate, so the guys played a mix of Irish songs and jigs and reels. The music they provided was fantastic, creating the most beautiful atmosphere for the milling around and photo time between ceremony and reception. They were inconspicuous but added so much. Would definitely recommend them (and their versatility!) for any event.’"

"The Ceilihouse recently played at our wedding reception and it was amazing. All our guests commented on what an atmosphere they created and how superb they were. "I have been a fan of Kelly's Heroes for many years. I never tire of hearing them. As we say in Ireland the Craics always good at their gig. I think the secrets are they are accomplished musicians no weakness in any department. Hugh range of songs and tunes! Tony who fronts the band makes everyone feel welcomed and encourages joining in the choruses. I would recommend them every time. Cracking live band and with their any CDs you can take them home after the gig! "
