"There was so much positive resonance in the air from the enjoyment you, Steve and Gordon created with your music and leadership. Many people commented on the numerous smiley faces and the delight at being with others, taking exercise. “Their best party in two years”! Thank you, all, for sharing your musical flair and enabling a fun evening. We are well aware there would be nothing without your skills. Yes, there was some rust amongst the brain cells but it was also noticeable that very few dances were sat out!"

Mick, Just a quick note to say a huge thank you for playing at my party on Friday (29th November 2019 Friday Walthamstow Trades Hall, Tower Hamlets Road, Walthamstow, London, E17 4RQ) everyone had a great evening and you and your band made a major contribution to that - particular thanks to the caller who was fantastic and very patient with us all. Perhaps the best word of praise came from an Irish friend, who sat next to me after you had started playing and said, "These guys seem to know what they are doing." - believe me, coming from him that is high praise indeed! "I took my Fiancé to a Blackbeard’s tea party gig in York with a view to see if he would like them to play at our wedding. As soon as they started playing, the place was bouncing and our decision was made. When they played at our wedding reception, we were not disappointed; they were so much fun, all our guests had an absolute ball! Be warned, put your dancing shoes on, because you will not stop dancing! They are just too scrummy to miss!"

"Hi Fiddlestix! We absolutely loved our barn dance and had the most amazing time!! Thankyou all so very much and thanks again for performing the special song for us to all have a slow dance to, we really appreciated it!!!!! All our guests said how lovely the whole thing was! I just felt so awful that you didn’t get your platter of food, I’m so so sorry, I promise you it was all arranged and paid for but the pub completely forgot apparently, I was not best pleased!! There wasn’t even enough food for the rest of the guests really as so many more came than we anticipated!!!!! Anyway thanks again for being amazing ❤️ Love Zoe and Hannah xxx "

"Blue Jewel were definately the right choice to play at our wedding. We had a fantastic time, the music was superb and the band evoked a terrific fun atmosphere at our reception. Just about every one of our guests Joined in for a dance, and so many of them commented on how much they enjoyed the band!! We wish we could d it all over again!! A big THANK YOU Blue Jewel!!"
