"We were lucky to have Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band at our wedding in Devon last week. Fantastic band, beautiful music. Such a fun ceilidh that got everyone involved and made our wedding really special! It really fitted in with the relaxed atmosphere we wanted for our wedding. Thank you so much. We would really recommend! "

"These guys were just great and made a special birthday really special. Just loved Mike’s amazing fiddle playing. They accommodated all our requests for Irish and Scottish music and were flexible around times which was great as lunch was later than anticipated. Would highly recommend."

"Hi Gordon, Just a quick note to say thank you again to you and the bands for the hard work at our wedding at Shortflatt Tower, I hope that we did not cause you too much stress with the slightly delayed schedule and the last-minute RSVP song-lists! The bands, both the ceilidh and the party band, sounded great and had people dancing which is all that we wanted. "Very many thanks to your lovely band who played at my party on Saturday night - we all had a great time and the band sounded wonderful. Could you also thank the caller (I'm terribly sorry I can't remember her name) who coped with a tough crowd admirably - she had to deal with folk who knew very well what they were doing, complete novices and everything in between, along with some wee ones. She did a grand job, thank you."

"Lisa did the music in the church for our wedding. I gave her a list of songs I wanted, some of them she didn't know but was willing to learn for our big day. She was very helpful at filling in the bits I had neglected and selected some beautiful pieces of music. Although the day is a bit of a blur to me, everyone still comments on how amazing the music was. She also sang our first dance with the band which was very special. I think the band would have kept her all night! I'd highly recommend her. "

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio / Georgia's Wedding Ceilidh / October 2024 It was so much fun to have the trio along and they were so clear with their instructions that even the French at our wedding could follow along. Mike’s communication was superb and at one point extremely helpful by replying quickly with a key document, as we dealt with a problem with our venue. Thank you all."

"We booked Caravan Swing for our charity event in at Gallery House -they were fabulous! The musicians were great and the band entered the spirit of the evening, despite playing outside on a slightly chilly Aberdeenshire evening. Thank you - we hope you will come back!!"
