"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – International Student’s Ceilidh – July 2025 This is the second time we have booked the Black Velvet Band for our summer ceilidh, and it was such fun! The band ran two different dancing sessions for our international students and were very patient with explaining the dances and encouraging all students to participate. The music was brilliant and energetic, and all three band members were so kind and even paused for a photoshoot with the students. We are looking forward to next summer already. I’d absolutely recommend them for any event/party/celebration!"

"I can’t fault the service provided by Last Minute Musicians. Constant contact all the way through, and beyond the booking date, thank you for your great customer service. BM Ceilidh were absolutely amazing and exactly what I wanted for the evening. We had in excess of 110 people attend with ages from 90 years young down over, the dance floor had a variety of ages joining in with Dave doing his best to keep everybody right - so much fun! Everybody had an amazing night, and I received nothing but positive feedback from the guests about the band. All in all a great evenings entertainment that has certainly added to the memory banks of all those who were there. I wouldn’t hesitate in booking the band for a future celebration, and would definitely recommend them - you won’t regret it ?"

"Davie, I don’t know where to start by thanking you boys for Friday night. There were over 100 peeps there and I would say nearly everyone has commented on how brilliant you were and how you made the night. Big Andy(the big fat loud boy) thinks you’re even better now compared to the wedding and we thought you were awesome then. Everybody had a great time which is mainly down to you guys. We’ve not stopped talking about it since. Hopefully, our paths will meet to let us get Shoogled once more. Pass our regards to the boys. "LMM organised the setting up of the event in a very efficient friendly and helpful manner. Even when our original act pulled out unexpectedly Sarah-Jane bent over backwards to ensure we got a similar act at a similar price, all at relatively short notice We were delighted with tremendous set which Martin and Anna of the Ardvierikie Ceilidh Band performed for us all on our son’s wedding night; it exceeded all of our expectations! Right from the word go, their professionalism and enthusiasm shone through, with both demonstrating superb musicianship combined with the excellent calling skills of Anna who got everyone up on their feet for the whole night! It gave all of us all an amazing evening to remember all our lives and greatly contributed to the success of the wedding as a whole."
