"The Tommy Aces played at our wedding recently, and we recommend them highly. The communication beforehand was excellent, ensuring they included our favourite songs. They also catered for our guests' requests. Their music, manner and vibe were excellent and everybody loved them, especially us!"

The music was fantastic, and I felt the calling gave us just the right amount of detail without holding back those who were itching to get on with the dancing. "A big thank you to you and your fellow musicians in the It's No' Reel Scottish Ceilidh Band for making our retirement ceilidh a really memorable night. We were so pleased that we chose you, thanks really to your excellent website. You were thoroughly professional in your approach and from our first e-mail communications we got a sense of reassurance - even although we had never heard you play live. We were also pleased that we chose to have a second fiddle - that gave such a wonderful sound. A friend & I were putting finishing touches to things in the foyer while you were tuning up. You then started to play, we looked at each other, both gave a spontaneous 'thumbs up' and big smiles - we knew then that it was going to be a great night! We know from our friends and family that they all did have a great night and you were the most talked about part of the whole evening. I just wish we could do it all again so we could get more time to sit and listen to your music - it all went by in a bit of a blur for Greg & I. Apart from comments on your professionalism, the quality of your playing and the fact that you got the sound level just right - many people told us how much they enjoyed listening to what you played between the dance tunes. We did not need the disco playlist after all! I just hope that we are able to hear you play live again! Thanks once more to you all, you made our special night even more special. We would recommend you to anyone looking for a band for a special event - we could not have asked for more. Thank goodness you were free on the 27th!!"

"The Craigi Ceilidh band were excellent. Perfect for my 60th birthday party with all levels of experience and agility catered for. The caller and band made the whole event run smoothly and all the guests commented on how much they enjoyed the evening. Booking the band proved to be a very straightforward exercise with good communication before the event from both the band and Last Minute Musicians."

"We had Annasach Ceilidh Band play for our daughters wedding at the Ptarmigan, Loch Insh. All of the guests thought the band were fantastic, they played mood music as guests arrived followed by a full on Ceilidh. The instrumentalist were amazing and the caller was friendly, funny and ensured we had a wonderful ceilidh."

"We hired the Ceilidh With Us band for our wedding and the night was just excellent. Communication before the event was detailed but straightforward. On the night, the caller was absolutely brilliant and the rest of the band were all super talented. It sounded great, the setup was great, and they had plenty of people dancing who don't normally (or ever!) dance. One couple told us they'd literally never danced together before that night! So all in all, brilliant. Would highly recommend!"

"Me and my friend Pūlama hired Blue Jewel band for our birthday party and they were so excellent!!! The music was fab and the caller chose really fun dances, some folks said it was the best Ceilidh they had been to! 10/10 recommend, thank you for a lovely evening :)"

"The Irish Violinist was wonderful. Such a talented Violinist. No fuss, turned up early and set everything up very efficiently. The sounds quality was amazing. It was a surprise for my grandparents and they loved it. She played their song for them, and my grandmother nearly missed it! When she arrived back she kindly played it for them again so they could dance to it. It was a beautiful moment. There was 11 of for the private dinner party. Every guest said that it made the evening. I would highly recommend and would book again in a heart beat!"
