"Céilí Max are an incredibly talented group of musicians. Their technical skill was clear from the moment they opened our party, but along with that came a vibrant and personal approach to entertaining the room. All of our guests were up on the floor dancing and they truly made the night!"

"Wraggle Taggle were fantastic for my birthday party at Alexandra Park School. Mick was a great communicator leading up to the event and made me feel reassured that everything was well-planned. The music was excellent and the caller made sure that we all had a great time joining in although most of us were unfamiliar with the dances beforehand. Some of the comments I received from friends were "it made me feel young again!" and "I haven't had so much fun for a long time!" Thank you to Mick and the band for a wonderful evening! "

"The band played at my restaurant for a friends 40th birthday last weekend. None of us had seen them before and we were all blown away by how good they were ! Lilac who sang lead has a beautiful voice and the whole party were on their feet the entire evening … i would definitely use them again and im recommending them to my customers who book events at our place and want a fantastic band !! "I just wanted to write and say a huge 'thank you' for all your efforts on Sunday. You really made the event with your wonderful playing, and it really added that special something! Mother thought that it was wonderful, and enjoyed her day immensely. Unfortunately I didn't see you leaving so I'm very sorry to have missed you. "The band played at my daughter’s wedding reception on Saturday and really made the evening go with a swing. All the communication in the run up to the event was good – what music we were looking for, arrangements about set up, timings, etc. Musically, they are an excellent band."

"For 13 years I have coordinated highly successful ceilidh dances in Bishopbriggs High School and now the new Bishopbriggs Academy. These Christmas dances are the culmination of 3 weeks of social dance with all year groups and it it a priority of mine that we have live music to create an upbeat atmosphere. I consider it part of my job to ensure these traditional dances are taught in school in a way pupils will enjoy and will perpetuate. This year I secured the services of The Shooglers for our S5/6 dance. The evening was a fantastic success and enjoyed immensely by pupils and staff alike. The band worked a perfect blend of traditional Scottish dance tunes with contemporary music the pupils are familiar with, which heightened their participation in – and positive attitude to – “social dancing”. I have already asked the band to perform at next year’s S5/6 dance in the school. I know it will be a special occasion. I recommend The Shooglers unreservedly to anyone hosting school dances, weddings or any kind of function. "

"Hi Gordon, We can't begin to thank you and the band enough for making Friday such a special evening. Helen was really looking forward to dancing with all her friends and the music you played certainly made people want to get up and join in, even oldies like me. Thank you also for managing the ceilidh dancing so well in a very restricted amount of space. We had expected just a few people to take part but were overwhelmed by the numbers and the enthusiasm. Helen had forewarned a number of her friends about the dances we were having so a few had taken advantage of the YouTube tutorials available but the success was all down to yourself. We both realised that you played for much longer than initially envisaged so thank you very much for that. Best wishes!"

"What can I say? The band was brilliant. Great vocals from Johnny, ably supported by Mike on fiddle and Eddy on accordion. By the end of the night everyone was dancing and calling for more.
