"Hi Fiddlestix, thank you so much for such a fun time at our party on Saturday. The band were amazing and Geoff the caller did an amazing job at keeping us under control! The dance floor was always packed and we’ve had so many compliments about you. This is the first time many of our friends have been to a Ceilidh and they all had a great time. Well done and thankyou for such a fabulous night! Keep up the good work. Your music and enthusiasm is wonderfully infectious! Many thanks again. Helen and Mike."

"A massive thank you to you and the guys for such a wonderful evening at our wedding in France! You made the evening a night to remember for everyone and all of our guests were raving about you. Even our French neighbours, who had come up for a glass of wine and a 'mosey about', were highly entertained. We greatly appreciate the distance you travelled and the long night you had on Saturday but the wedding wouldn't have been the same without you. Having every dance danced to by guests, many of who had never ceilidhed before was better than we expected, especially with the heat! You were a pleasure to deal with in the months before and on the day, nothing seemed like it was too much trouble. We would be happy to recommend you to anyone considering a ceilidh band as you were without doubt the best, most entertaining and fun band we have come across."

"We booked Jamie for our small wedding of 30 initially to break our day/evening up and honestly did not contemplate the effect this would have on our wedding! We really could not have asked for anything more from Jamie! He was fantastic, he really got the crowd going and although we had a small wedding, you wouldn't have known, every single person in the room was up, dancing and singing. It was a complete game changer and every single person at our wedding has mentioned how amazing Jamie was. Given all the restrictions with COVID, it really would have been a completely different wedding, not for the better, had we chosen any other artist or not had one at all and we really cannot thank Jamie enough for the part he played in our day! We would recommend him 1000 times over!"

"Judy was really well organised and communicated well with prompt responses, even suggesting a local venue that they know works well - exactly what you need when you're organising an event! The band sounded great, with a wide repertoire of songs from different backgrounds but all feeling familiar. The caller struck the perfect balance, teaching and guiding where necessary but allowing the dancers free reign when we got into the swing of it. Everyone had an amazing time, with many, many positive comments received about the band. I will be recommending the Barnbuskers to anyone planning a similar event."

"The Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band were a great asset to the evening. The band members were friendly and they were very good at spreading their enthusiasm with the party guests. They did not give me any cause to regret making the booking, and I would recommend them to others. The choice of dances was appropriate for the skill-level of the guests, and the caller was a good coach for those one or two who did not know their clockwise from their anticlockwise. They helped to make a really good evening that everyone enjoyed. Thank you."

"Funk With Us played at our wedding last weekend and were absolutely amazing!! I would highly recommend them for any wedding or other event. So many of our guests kept asking how we'd found them because they just blew everyone away with their vocals, energy, song choices and just all around fun! So so so good! It felt like Lilac and the rest of the band just brought the good times back! "

"We recently asked It's No' Reel Ceilidh Band to play at our daughter's wedding. The band arrived on time and set up without any fuss. In fact we were hardly aware of their presence until they started to play. There were a number of English guests and Tom kindly went through the steps of the dances at the start. This was really helpful and encouraged everyone on to the floor. The music was great and played so well. We could not have asked for a better band. A big thanks to all that played for us you made our very special day really great."
