"Hi Davie and the band, Now that the wedding is over and we are back from our honeymoon?, I just wanted to send you a massive thank you for the awesome night of dancing we had last weekend at our wedding at Lands of Loyal Hotel in Alyth. You have got to be the best ceilidh band I have ever heard!! The rocky and fast paced sets were just unreal to dance to and all our Irish guests loved learning how to ceilidh dance. Such an amazing night and we really cannot thank you enough! I have dropped Chloe at Freak music a wee email to say how fantastic you were and asked if she can put the review up on their website. "Lisa played during our wedding ceremony and was one of the highlights of our very special day. We have received so many messages from friends and family since the big day complimenting her music. We provided a playlist to Lisa, some of which would not be traditional wedding tunes, but she played everything we requested and it was note perfect. Lisa's professionalism was very evident and was able to provide some much appreciated advice and guidance in relation to the music for the ceremony. We are delighted that she was a part of our big day and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented and professional artist for any occasion. Tim & Julie"

"Brilliant band for my sons charity night in Northampton. I booked a 5 piece as I wanted a fiddle player, great musicians, Steve top singer, Luke the engineer was really kind and very helpful with a video link of Zac. "Thanks again for yesterday – there was such a lovely atmosphere and the music and calling were great. Someone commented on it being ‘advanced barn dancing’ Smile Lots of people said how marvellous you all were. And also I really appreciated Ray’s (or is it Roy – sorry, forgotten) changes to the words to accommodate the range of dancers and couples and reducing the gender specificity – it felt much more accessible to me and there were also comments from others saying how much they appreciated being able to dance as two people and not be concerned about who was who or ‘dancing as’ etc."

"Huw was a true professional who has amazing talent. His performance was outstanding and we would not hesitate to recommend him. At one point, one of our guests thought that we had a CD playing. They didn’t believe that it was a live act. They thought that Huw’s voice was fantastic. Huw really did make our wedding extra special so thank you."

My mum had a brilliant time and I managed to create the night I had planned in my head. So much so she couldn't sleep for the following 2 nights with the excitement of it all!!! "Céilí Max are an incredibly talented group of musicians. Their technical skill was clear from the moment they opened our party, but along with that came a vibrant and personal approach to entertaining the room. All of our guests were up on the floor dancing and they truly made the night!"

"From start to end this was a very stress free and enjoyable process that had the potential to be the opposite! We were able to move quickly and get things sorted in a matter of days. On the night, Huw was a dream. Everything went smoothly and his performance was incredible. He was prepped with my lyric choices and how to play the song. We loved every minute. Thank you Huw!"
