"I cannot rate Ceili Max more highly. All of the members of the band were helpful, enthusiastic and incredibly talented! They went above and beyond to make our evening special. All 150 people danced all evening and I put this entirely down to the energy generated by Ceili Max. We have already booked them in for our next event. Highly recommend - book them now!! "

"Sounds with Us we’re absolutely phenomenal at our wedding! Everything was perfect, the lead up we had multiple chats and they got to know us, find out our music taste then the day was just brilliant. Lilac did a solo set which was wonderful and the band kept the dance floor going followed with Remko keeping the floor fillers with his awesome DJ skills. Would recommend them to anyone for any occasion! Thank you guys ?"

A lot of our guests (some of whom are professional/semi-professional players themselves in other ceilidh bands in England and Scotland!) commented on the high standard of your musical performance as well as your ability to inspire them to put their feet on the dance floor without too many mishaps. There were over 100 peeps there and I would say nearly everyone has commented on how brilliant you were and how you made the night. Big Andy(the big fat loud boy) thinks you’re even better now compared to the wedding and we thought you were awesome then. Everybody had a great time which is mainly down to you guys. "It is difficult to capture just how fabulous Lisa was before as well as on the day. She is such a lovely, fun and friendly woman. We really enjoyed working with her in planning the day and her singing down the phone to us as she explored various song suggestions will be a fond memory for us both... leaving us very excited for the day itself. We both love music, as do our families and put a lot of effort to line up some fantastic musical acts in addition to Lisa, including a 6 piece band and a solo guitarist we flew in from abroad. We also had a number of first class entertainers and performers....however despite this, the number one comment we had from every guest during the day and since has been the dramatic and hugely positive impression Lisa had on everyone. We almost felt bad our guests were giving her so much attention and trying to book her for their own events, including a lot of people who had already booked their musicians and were now having second thoughts!! We wanted the wow factor and Lisa certainly provides that. We can’t think of anyone we’ve ever seen musically who is so versatile and yet consistently high quality, indeed... top class. From classical church performances (she is very knowledgable and comfortable in working with you and your ceremony) ... she also learnt a particular piece for us that we’ve never heard covered and yet she delivered it as if it was her favourite song while also very much making it her own. Switching to a top class contemporary set during the drinks reception took everyone by surprise....and her true personality really came out when she switched into a medley of her own hip hop / original numbers blended with a traditional Irish music session, a sing off and an Irish dance combo. There is little to add to what others more qualified have already said in terms of her pure and incredible voice. Beyond this... to give you a sense of her capability... she was able to jam with another musician she only met on the day... to pick up, tune and play a new instrument (family heirloom banjo) as a special request.... to captivate 150 guests of all age ranges and from across the globe, and was able to keep our guests enthralled and enchanted with her for over 6 hours. We’ve met someone who we will enjoy following and listening to for the rest of our lives and who we will always feel lucky we were able to have share our special day. I suspect we will be going to see her gig and perform again very soon (if our guests don’t beat us to it first!). "

"We booked Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio for a Birthday Party with a mixed age group of family and friends. They were great with a special mention to Jennie (the caller) who really worked hard getting us to do the different dances. Everyone really enjoyed the dances and had a lot of fun! I mustn’t forget Jon and Mike who provided the music. I can’t say enough good things about them – just to say that if you book them you will have a great time!"

"We were lucky to have Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band at our wedding in Devon last week. Fantastic band, beautiful music. Such a fun ceilidh that got everyone involved and made our wedding really special! "Everyone really enjoyed it" Thank you Mick and the Wraggle Taggle band for an excellent Saturday afternoon (22nd July 2023 Saturday Lauderdale House, Waterlow Park, , Highgate Hill, London N6 5HG). Everyone really enjoyed it. Shame we couldn't stay and join in but it would.have been too much for Paul. Sheer determination and steroids were the only thing that worked plus 3 guys to get him downstairs. Still we now have all the memories and photos to enjoy. "I couldn't recommend It's No' Reel ceilidh band highly enough. From the first time I emailed them to see what their availability was for our wedding day, to the week of the wedding, nothing was a problem. They were very quick to reply to emails, and always extremely friendly. When it came to our wedding reception, we could not have asked for a better atmosphere. The music was exactly how we wanted it, ceilidh music and disco tunes alike! They were so energetic throughout their set, and really kept the party going. I found it difficult to dance as much as I wanted to as well as socialise with my guests as I was having so much fun! Thanks again for everything guys, we really appreciate it."

"The band were absolutely first class and they had the dancefloor going all night. They even let one of the guests do her songs during the interval which was amazing too. Would definitely book them again and recommend them to anyone wanting to put on a top party. Thanks alot guys. Great equipment, great musicians, great sound and top music choice, we loved it."

"The band were wonderful at my party. Everyone loved the music and Kip was so patient explaining the steps. They were really flexible and tailored the whole evening to what we wanted. Lip was very reassuring prior to the party answering all my queries. I would highly recommend them and would love the same party every year!"
