"What a find! The Blue Jewel Celidh Band were just amazing. We are a charity and had organized a St Patrick's Day Barn Dance and are truely grateful to the band for stepping in at the last minute. The whole evening was joyous with a great party feel to it. Everyone danced from children and young people to grandparents. The caller and the musicians were enthusiastic and extremely competent. There was a great atmosphere and buzz everyone had a great time and were asking when was the next one! A big THANK YOU to the Blue Jewel Celidh band."

"A few friends and I went to see G Celtic Folk Rock Band in Pontefract on Friday. What a fantastic talented bunch of musicians these guys are. They delivered punchy folk rock songs, which are mostly their own with a few individual interpretations of some classics throughout the night. Brilliant stuff and highly entertaining. A great venue too, and cannot wait for them to return."

"I cannot thank you enough for you and your band at my mums birthday party, it really was the best night we have had in ages. The effort by all of you far exceeded any expectation I had, never lone anyone else in the room. You didn’t just provide a band for the night, you all provided the entertainment, fun factor, the laughing (the workout!) and provided exactly and way more then I ever expected. The music was wonderful, jolly, filled gaps , catered to everyone’s ears from ages 2 - 80+ years! You made it easy to follow the dance steps and fun for absolutely everyone, whether they were dancing or just listening to the music. I absolutely wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone or use you all again in a heartbeat. So thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you for providing one element that made the whole night. "Kate was wonderful. Very helpful in guidance on selecting pieces of music. She had a wide range in her repertoire and supplemented this with 3 new tracks that we particularly wanted. The music from the harp filled the Great Hall and was a perfect fit for the setting. Many guests complimented Kate personally on the music. Absolutely fabulous. We would definitely recommend Kate to others."

"Black Velvet Irish Trio were absolutely fantastic! They had the entire room up singing and dancing for both sets. They played a great mix of upbeat Irish songs and traditional classics and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the performance. We received lots of positive feedback from our customers both in person and on social media. We will book them again!"

"Kip and the blue jewel team were absolutely amazing. They got the whole crowd on the dance floor and everyone loved it, especially the ones with no experience of ceilidhs before! They were brilliant to work with and super flexible in the face of a delay in the schedule. Cannot recommend them highly enough! "

"Highly recommend these guys" A brilliant performance by 3 talented musicians and showmen. They made out birthday party go with a swing. Every body was up and dancing, they couldn't help themselves. Wide range of music that got everyone engaged. Highly recommend these guys. Donna and I would like to thank you and the band for a fabulous performance at my birthday party on Saturday (15th April 2023 Redlands Road, Reading, RG1) Everybody enjoyed the music and some have become converts to Irish Trad as a result! The combination of Box, Banjo and Guitar worked very well as did your singing of everybody's favourite sing along songs. I'm sure we will be calling on your services again soon.
