"We recently hired It's No' Reel Ceilidh Band for our wedding and were extremely pleased. Right from the beginning, communicating with the band was easy and stress free. The band arrived on time and set up without disturbing our reception in the next room. The band played exceptionally and everyone had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great band!"

You were absolutely superb from start to finish and as you could probably tell from all the dancing, our guests absolutely loved all your music too! You got people up there dancing who I've never seen on a dance floor before. We've had nothing but compliments about what a great idea it was to have you perform at the wedding. "Thanks very much for your fantastic set at Marlin's Wynd - we were so glad we picked It's No Reel. The band managed to liven up traditional ceilidh songs, and the caller was excellent at keeping everybody on the dance floor and in high spirits. Our guests definitely all agreed too- we had a lot of positive comments about the band after the event. Tom was also very easy to deal with, responding very quickly to emails."

"I recently organised a surprise 40th birthday barn dance for my wife’s 40th birthday. Kip whom I was in contact with prior to the event was helpful and a breeze to deal with and when it came to the event itself Kip and the band were absolutely amazing! Thank you so much the three of you, you really made it a fun, hilarious and quality evening that we will always remember. So many people who’d never been to a barn dance have since said to me they are converts, and those that already had experience of ceilidhs extolled your virtues too. These things can hinge on the caller and Kip gauged the crowd perfectly - really making sure we all had a fantastic evening. Thank you so much again, would not hesitate to recommend or book again. Please let us know when you play at Plympton Guildhall next, we will definitely be there. Best Greg"

"BM Ceilidh were excellent! They pitched it right for our inexperienced group, getting among us to ensure we were right and keeping steps fairly straight forward. Additionally, they were very good at trying to keep us on track with timings when we stopped for food as well as playing while we talked and recovered between dances"

"We had GDTB Duo play for us at our celebration, having seen them play at another venue. Everyone certainly had a good time. The music was interesting, some songs recognisable and some older traditional songs, with lovely singing and playing. And they were very friendly people to talk to afterwards as well. Definitely recommended."

"A big thanks to Mike and the rest of the band for a brilliant evening. Everyone has said how much they thoroughly enjoyed it. A special thank you to Alan, the dance caller. He did a great job - quite a comedian! Finally a big thanks to the band for welcoming our fiddle-playing friend Richard into their ranks for the evening. He said he had a fantastic time. What a great party band the guys make! I'm very happy to recommend them to anyone having a bash. "
