"Thanks you so much The Shooglers for playing at our wedding in April. I booked you after receiving a recommendation from the bass player of my own band. He was at a function you guys were playing at last year and he raved about you so much I was really glad you were able to play for us. There were guests from Canada, Dublin and New Zealand at our wedding and they were all joining in and everyone had a superb night. I especially enjoyed how you blended in rock and pop tunes with some of the Ceilidh dances. I will definitely recommend you guys to anyone I can and if I organize another bash in the future I'll be looking The Shoogle up! Thanks so much on behalf of my new wife Wendy and myself. "

"The Shooglers played at our wedding in May and they were great! They were brilliant at calling the ceilidh dances and Davie (the caller) certainly has the gift of the gab! He encouraged everyone to get up and dance and had people laughing in the process with lines like, 'the next dance is a prize dance... Prise yourselves off your seats and get up to dance!' All our guests commented on how good the band was and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them - a great find! "

"Hello Fiddlestix, We are just away on holiday but wanted to thank you, the band and your fabulous caller for getting our daughter’s wedding reception off to such a great start! We knew we had a few guests who would definitely get up and take part, but to have so many joining in the fun and to hear all of the glowing compliments afterwards was great! The cheesy disco afterwards was good fun too, but I think partly that was down to the fact everyone had had such a great laugh with their attempts at barn dancing and were keen to stay on the dance floor! "To add to the family review posted previously, on a more practical note... Patrick was wonderfully organised, when I spoke to him after booking he'd already checked Google maps to work out how long it would take to get to the venue and added half an hour for delays. He'd looked at Google earth to recce the site, and thought about additional music to supplement what I'd requested. He was there ahead of time, and was completely relaxed and supportive when I was in a big flap about everything. And of course, the music was perfect, beautiful, exactly as I'd hoped it would be. I couldn't recommend Patrick highly enough if you're looking for someone compassionate and efficient to make a very sad event very special."

"After our harpist let us down close to our wedding we turned to Last Minute Musicians for help. They were amazing and we found the most perfect Harpist in Rebecca! They kept us informed every step of the way, were polite and answered any questions we had. Rebecca was also polite and friendly. Cannot fault. 100% recommend"

"Behan’s Footsteps came to play at my husband’s 60th birthday party, they were absolutely fantastic and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing good music at their event. They responded very quickly to my queries and requests and were an absolute pleasure to deal with, we would hire them again if we have another ‘do’"
